TWW

I think I'm probably starting the TWW today (although it's more of an 11-13 day wait).

Not sure, but I think I might have BEEN in the 2WW since the 4th....

My cycle was SO messed up...

In any case, even if I didn't O on the 4th, I would have O'd on or around the 13th. So I'm here with ya! Good luck!!

Hrmm.... Think I might need an early u/s if I'm pregnant?

Woo-hoo, I've entered the two week wait!

I always get confused about counting dpo... I had a postive OPK around 3pm yesterday, a nearly positive one at 10pm. I think I will count today as O date (even though they say 12-48 hours after a positive). Tomorrow is 1dpo. Is that right?

BD last night, and planning for tonight.

I should be here tomorrow or Friday hehe.

CamelNoodle.. I always get confused too. I try and use that countdowntopregnancy website for this lol it usually sets it later than I would have though which is a good thing and helps me not test too early (sometimes).

That site was helpful. It called today 0 dpo, which I agree with, since it is O day. It gives me Thursday, May 31st as my testing day. (Good luck waiting that long!)

I've been so busy teaching short biology course and enjoying early summer that I haven't had time to really think about TTC stuff. It's been nice. Of course when a weekend during the TWW hits, life slows down. My class only meets M-Th. Not sure how, but all the summer classes I'm teaching this year have Fri. off. My last class (mid-July to mid-Aug) only meets T-Th. I love my job. I enjoy working with students, the hours are incredibly flexible, and my co-workers are like family. My life plan hasn't worked out how I thought it would, but I can't complain. I wish we could add another LO to our family, but I guess we'll just have to see what life brings.

Who's in the TWW now? And what's going on in your lives?

hrmm.. I either missed the surge or I'm ovulating today. my cervix is soft and high.. has been since last night. so we BD'd last night and will again tonight. I'm feeling some pinching on my right side and I felt some yesterday but I don't know.. I was trying not to focus too much on any kind of signs bc I hate stressing about it. seems like if I don't think about it, I don't stress. my ticker says I'm 1 dpo today.. hrmm.. could be Smile either way, I'll be testing around the 31st. now it's just the waiting game, which I hate!!

Beth, I love keeping busy and not stressing too much about TTCing.. you know what they say, it happens when you least expect it. this has been the first month that I haven't stressed about it. what do you teach?? your schedule sounds fabulous!

well FF says I'm moving over here... temps are still low, just barely above cover today. If they stay up then I guess I'm in the 2WW... super crampy now. Just want to crawl back into bed..... Not overly hopeful for this cycle really, since I was expecting AF and not O :/

Nidia, do you temp or use opks? Good luck this cycle!!

Jina, I use opks but either I missed the surge or I will have it today? we will see. I'm at work right now so I can't test but I get off at 12:30 and I'll test about 2:30ish. I don't temp because my son wakes up in the middle of the night a couple times.. so it'd be inaccurate really and I'm a light sleeper.. so I wake up a lot as well.

Hi Ladies Smile
I'm still hanging around, and I think I'm officially into the TWW now as well!

Been CRAZY busy the past week - I wasn't able to get to the store to pick up any OPKs, so I'm going with my best guess this cycle, which is a bit disappointing.
This past weekend my brother got married, and we moved into our new house this week, so we've been on the go non-stop......and too exhausted to BD as much as we had hoped, so we've got our fingers crossed! I thought I felt some crampyness and O pain the other day, but I've pulled a muscle in my side and thrown my back out, so it's hard to differentiate between everything now.

Beth - your summer schedule sounds amazing! And hopefully being to busy to stress about TTC helps this month Smile

Nidia....yup, same cycle! I REALLY doubt I'll be able to hold off until the 30/31st to test tho. I'm supposed to be working out of town next week, so that should at least take my mind off of the countdown to testing!

Hope you're all doing well!!

Jo - moving is so exhausting! We moved at the beginning of April and haven't stopped yet! Despite not having a ton of time ro energy to BD I got pg the week we moved in but unfortunately it ended in a CP Sad This cycle O seems to have sneaked up on me, I was expecting AF but I may have O'd on CD 28 instead!

Nidia - When I have a surge it's pretty short, hope you didn't missed it!

Beth - I'm praying for a miracle for you! Hope that being busy will keep your mind occupied.

Sorry...haven't been very active on here! I teach science classes at a local community college. Mainly pre-nursing classes like Human Anatomy & Physiology and Microbiology. I also teach General Biology, Environmental Science, etc. I have my MS in biology. I was a field biologist for a while.

Still not obsessing over TTC stuff. We always have house projects going on during the summer. Between work and home I find myself occupied more than during winter. Right now I have a little person sleeping on me. So glad I won this iPad! I'm still amazed. I always thought it was agimmick when companies say they're putting your name in a drawing. Need a Bluetooth keyboard though. My finger is tired.

OK Ladies,
When will everyone test? I want to know who to start stalking Wink

I should expect AF either the 30/31st, but I'll probably test early, maybe early next week...?

Who else will be testing?

FF says I should expect AF next wed. I'm trying to hold out till then to test. Had a significant temp dip today so we shall see how things go though, if my temp goes back up I may end up caving and testing this sunday....

It's getting close to get our first February BPF! I'm 6 dpo and I've calculated an EDD of Feb 6th. That means someone due on Feb 1st would be 12 dpo by now (is my math right?)

Can't wait!

AF will be here either the 30th or 31st for me. hard to tell bc my cycles are still trying to adjust. so I want to test on the 31st.. but I might test early.. maybe the 28th.. lol

there seems to be a bunch of us all right around the same time Smile Hoping that's a good sign!

Today, everything tastes funny. Trying hard not to think about it because last cycle that was the first sign right before my faint BFP..... I desperately want to hold out and not test early this time, AF showing after a faint positive is just so disheartening Sad

I hope that odd taste is a good sign! It's hard not to think about whether things are "different." Unfortunately, the only thing consistent for me seems to be inconsistency.

Crystal, I hope it's a good sign also Smile

honestly, nothing seems out of the ordinary for me.. but I've not been thinking too much about it. the past few months, I have tried and tried looking for symptoms.. only to be disappointed in the end. so.. yeah.. I'm like whatever lol it will disappoint me less if I don't get a BFP. I'm trying to be less stressed and definitely way more relaxed.

Crystal, I agree with the pps, I hope it's a good sign! Yay for your temp going back up!

I have no symptoms at all...except for sore bbs but I've had sore bbs for about 2 weeks so it doesn't count.

Crystal, I hope that's a good sign!!

I keep having arguments with myself....my hopeful self sees everything as a possible sign, and my logical self is telling me to stop looking for signs that aren't there. (ex: Sensitive nipples. Hopeful self says "Yay, that's a good sign!!" Logical self says "of course they're sensitive, you just pinched them, and pinching hurts!!")

I'm still feeling perfectly normal so I don't want to get my hopes up, but at least by next week I'll know if we were successful, or if we're trying again next month.

Still feeling horrible! Nothing tastes good except Eggo Waffles and peanut butter with chocolate chips. Stomach isn't doing so great and I have little to no energy, was able to hold off testing so far but only because I picked up a few OPK's at the dollar store and used them lol both rather light and negative. Trying so hard to keep busy so I don't test early but I have no energy to do anything to stay busy. Just wish the TWW was faster!

With so many of us near the end of the tww I keep checking to see if anyone has a BFP. Not me (BFN at 11 dpo). My temp is still up and af isn't here yet, but I usually see a temp drop at 12 dpo.

I'm feeling a bit better today, not so nauseous or tired. Still taste pennies but I'm now cramping like crazy. Broke down and tested but it was of course a BFN. Have a strong sense that AF is just around the corner. Don't think I should test again but I know I probably will.

10dpo is still early! Hang in there. I am one day behind you so I know how easy it is to be disappointed by a BFN, even so early.

12 dpo...temp starting to go down. BFN. AF should be here Sun or Mon. Looks like I'll be officially moving on to March soon. Disappointing to have the one year mark coming up in two cycles. I'm still not planning to go back to the RE though. Emotionally, it seems easier to accept that we won't have any more children than going through treatment again. The disappointment of failed IVF cycles was much harder for me than failed natural cycles.

How is everyone else doing? I'm hoping to see some BFPs on here in the next few days!

Beth My temps were low to begin with. Now they seem to be going even lower. Woke this morning feeling... fine, no pennies, not tired, no sore bbs, nothing. Tested again BFN as expected.
Still waiting on AF, should start tuesday or wednesday. I'll decide then what I am doing, either break for a bit or try one more cycle.

DH wants to start an IVF savings account in case we need to go that route. I'm really hoping that's not the case because it'll take us years and years to save enough. Nothing is covered by our provincial health or insurance so it's ll out of pocket. He's willing to do whatever it takes and do whatever is needed to make me happy and I'm so lucky for that.

I see you're still hanging in there, Crystal. Hard not to get excited when your temp goes back up. Have you tested again or are you going to wait it out? Your husband sounds like a nice guy. Wink

I can tell that AF will be here any minute. I've got to go into work to get some bacteria growing for my Microbiology class. That should keep my mind off TTC stuff!

Hi everyone :wavehello:

Welll... I was planning to wait it out, but I'm a POAS-aholic so i caved and tested again. An extremely faint line came up really quickly on an FRER but it looks more like an evap, too faint to really see after a few minutes, I did take the thing apart (I can't help myself, it's a compulsion)and the edges are faint but quite obviously pink so now I'm not sure what to think. I'm saying the test was a dud and it serves me right for not waiting it out as planned. AF should be here tomorrow or wednesday so trying to keep busy and not think about it....
