Any crafters?

Does anyone like to craft? If so, whats your latest creation? Do you have a picture, description or Pinterest link?

The Charm of Home: A Spring Wreath
I made this wreath for the spring for our front door. Ironically, a real bird stole all the Spanish moss for her OWN nest on a different area of the porch..... Haha. So there's no picture of what i made. Its still on our door, but with just the burlap bow.

I'm not really crafty in an artistic sort of way, but I do like to find new uses for items and recycle what I have on hand. Like repurposing old wood furniture, making a vase out of a jar, that kind of stuff.

The bird must have thought it hit the jackpot for nest making material Smile

I did a lot of knitting for DS1 when I was pregnant, so am looking forward to knitting again for this one, especially as it will be born at a colder time of year! I'm going to do a blanket this time I think.

Here are a few bits I did for DS1:

Cotton shorts and top:

Wooly trousers:

Tank top:

Oh wow, I LOVE the knitting!!! I so wish I could knit. Doing both needles just kills me.

I crochet, and I really enjoy it.

Here's some I've made so far:

Oh my goodness, Susan the crochet is so cute. That little white hat is adorable! I want to give crochet a go this pregnancy funnily enough! I don't really know where to start with it as I learnt to knit from family members but none of them crochet. I'll probably try and teach myself from online videos as that's how I worked out any awkward stitches I didn't know.

I LOVE bonnets. If this child is a girl, heaven help her, she will have a zillion. lol

It was the same with me for crochet. I think if I had someone sitting beside me that knew, I could learn, but i just can't from the youtube videos!

Susan, where did you get the pattern for the sleep gown? It's adorable! I love the hat, too, but I'm trying to avoid girly projects. Wink

I'm mostly into refinishing furniture/repurposing etc. I also very much enjoy remodeling (d/h and I live an a very old house that we are slowly but surely fixing up- next up on the list will be refinishing our old wood floors) but lately I've also been getting into sewing. My niece just turned 3 and she recently recieved a play kitchen, so I made her an apron as part of her birthday gift from us...

Jenn,
That apron is super cute. I have just ventured into sewing and im a major novice. Im just hoping to make lavender rice socks for small Christmas gifts!
Im looking around on Pinterest for any super easy projects. Im hoping that i will get into more projects as it gets colder.

If you figure out how to make lavender rice socks, you could also make door draft blockers really easily using different stuffing material. For kids, you can make the lavender rice socks into snakes complete with eyes and tongue.
