I am getting some energy back, finally, and am hoping that I've are going to lose some of the humidity we have had here, too. So, im looking forward to getting back to walking outside. There's a fantastic park abut 10 minutes from our house, and there's a good walking trail that is mostly shaded.
I am not a super exercise person. I wish it were part of my daily routine but it isn't. It kind of sporadic. Last pg i did some prenatal yoga videos and enjoyed that in the evening. There's a prenatal yoga class at the hospital too that im going to look into, too.
Do you guys have any current habits or future plans? Obstacles? Concerns? Etc......
yes I walk almost every day, i also have gotten in the habit of stretching before bed and in the am. I drink mostly water, Gatorade and milk. my Dr. said i need the electrolytes from the Gatorade since my legs cramp at night.
I don't limit my food, but i try to eat as healthy as i can.
I hope to keep running for a while into the pg. I haven't run a ton over the summer because it is hard and stressful for me to have 3 kids riding bikes ahead of me while pushing the stroller, worried they'll get hit by a car. :/ School starts in just over a week and I'll have all 3 older kids gone for the morning, 2 of them all day because I'm pretty sure they don't have a pm kindergarten this year. So I'll be able to take the baby on a run in the mornings. I've still been running about 2x a week this summer, but before school got out I was making it 4-5 days a week.
But after baby, I am trying to convince dh I need a double BOB jogger My double jogger currently is one of the trailer/joggers and does not hold a baby until the baby can sit up well on their own.
Formal exercise...no. I was doing Zumba and pilates almost every day but I stopped doing it consistently about two months before getting pregnant. I was walking regularly to the park with DS but that stopped when my nausea kicked up. I have pilates and yoga pregnancy dvds that I keep wanting to start now that my nausea is improving but I get too busy (or too lazy ). I have been spending a lot of time outside weeding, mowing, and doing other yard work now so I feel like I'm getting some activity, at least that is what I keep telling myself Hope to get some fall hikes in before weather gets too cold and wet.
