if it works, is it always right away? Or can it take a few days?

Nothing against elective Inductions. I just don't want one Had it with my son and was on Pit for 16 hours and it was MISERABLE. I am more scared of being induced with Pit then I am of having a baby! 0.o

They say if it's going to work it will work within 48 hours. Although, my water broke 3 days after with d/s 1 (not sure if it was b/c of the sweep though) I really thought things were pickin up yesterday...woke up today with absolutely nothing no cramping and no contractions.

Awww...sorry you had such a miserable experience when I had mine, I really never had to experience pitocin contractions- I started with a small amount of pit. Then my Dr. broke my water and my contrax. took off on their own-so it was turned off. I also had an epidural though. It was easy peasy

Haha! D/h has been more then willing. He likes to remind me that it can jump start labor...I have not really been in the mood these days, but I am getting a little desperate, lol. Maybe it would work? If nothing else, I'll make d/h a happy guy
