    Default I bought a crib :) I don't care if it's too early! lol

I thought once we got the good solid go ahead from the dr and were moving on to the second trimester, it was all good!! Is anyone else out buying this stuff already?? Am i doing this crazy early?

The biggest reason we got it is because we have been quietly scoping things out, and then the crib/changer combo i liked the best, happened to be sitting in the clearance pile near the front when we walked into walmart this weekend 65 bucks. Normally more than twice that! I felt it was worth the plunge

    This is it:
Graco Woodbridge 4-in-1 Crib and Changer Combo (Your Choice Finish) with Kolcraft Mattress Set: Nursery Furniture : Walmart.com

The one they had left was even in cherry, exactly what i wanted!

I also have a pile of clothes and a few other smaller things. We had NOTHING to start with so we've been slowly piling.

Getting very excited...probably a little too soon

i don't think it is, but when i was preg with Lilly i had amassed a huge diaper and wipe stock by 20 weeks, and i was always looking for cloth diapers on sale online. i can't really remember what my first for the baby purchase was. I also had bath stuff like shampoo, because i can almost never pass up good clearance.

Yay for good deals! I haven't bought anything. I really don't need anything, with #5 and I have literally saved just about everything. I didn't want to have to re-buy so we saved until we knew we were done (and this is the end LOL) I really do want a new double jogger--mine does not hold a baby until they are sitting up well on their own and even then if they fall asleep it is very uncomfortable looking and I run A LOT. So I am coveting a BOB double. I figure, if I don't have to buy anything else, I can spend a little for that one right?

I have mostly started with the cloth diapers. Trying to spread out the costs over the entire 9 months. We have gotten 2 coupons for 40 off of some boppy's so I have 2 of those, and I have bought a couple gender neutral newborn outfits that I just couldn't resist. Because they were on clearance. Other then that we haven't made any large purchases. We are opting for a 3 piece bedroom set as we are hoping to have 1 more baby after this bug, so that will be our largest purchase (YIKES). We are probably going to buy a britax carrier today or tomorrow because the cowmooflauge one I really want is on sale fore 75 off. I will take it. Is it to early to buy a car seat?

Wow! That's an amazing deal. We don't have low costs at all like that in Canada. I'm estimating $300 for the crib and $200 for the mattress. I won't get a change table though... And those are the cheap Walmart prices up here! Crazy!

I say grab while the deal is good We don't need a lot for this new little one as I still have so much stuff from DS, but I have been keeping an eye out for deals on the stuff I do want and taking advantage when the price is right. That is why we have a new breast pump and double stroller even though I haven't hit second trimester yet My best deal so far is my baby bouncer/toddler rocker seat. We had this exact same one for DS that was given to us second hand from my cousin. I traded it in earlier this year at Babies R Us when they did their trade in old baby items for discount on new items (they do this once or twice a year and it is great way to save money on something new if you have old, broken, or expired car seats, bouncers, etc around the house or in storage), using the discount on his Britax car seat so we saved a considerable amount. I was a little saddened because I hadn't found a new bouncer seat that I liked as well as that seat even though it was missing the toy bar and all scraped up on bottom from being used outside. I found the exact same seat on Craigslist a couple of weeks ago with the toy bar we never had and in much better condition than our old one for $10 - I felt like I had won the lottery for a couple of days after I was so elated

Definitely not too soon for a deal like that, well done!

I've not got much yet but probably don't need to get much anyway. We'll need some extra clothes if it's a girl, and some extra basic clothes (like plain white sleep suits and vests) whatever gender it is as I got rid of lots of those once they were stained or a bit tatty looking.

I've been window shopping already though! And bought some lovely newborn sleep gowns that are totally gender neutral, second hand ones but in great condition and really soft. I've also bought a hat, a sling and a poncho to wear over us both as it'll be cold here when it comes. The poncho fits over a bump too so it'll be used before the birth too.
