I'm on a chore roll!

I think after getting barely anything done around the house for two months while I was battling nausea, vomiting and fatigue, the second trimester wind has kicked in finally. I have been getting so much done the past couple weeks around the house and yard. Granted it helps that I work only the occasional weekend so I have a huge chunk of time during most of the week to get stuff done and DS can entertain himself better. The hardest part is keeping myself from getting distracted by other projects that catch my eye. Today I cleaned and scrubbed down both showers. Touch up painted walls around the family room. Swept the garage and our two decks, then touch up painted the decks. Created some air fresheners for rooms in our house. Broke down some big boxes for recycling. This was in between the typical daily cleaning chores I do around the house. The good thing about all this cleaning is I will be better prepared for when my in-laws visit in two weekends instead of procrastinating and trying to do a major cleaning overhaul in one or two days Smile

I'm at the same stage! It's so nice reorganising things. We're clearing out a whole room to move DS into when he's ready, and so there's been a lot to do on top of the general cleaning and making more space in the house by sending loads of stuff to the charity shop. When it's done it's so satisfying. Smile

We've been donating a lot of unused stuff to charity too and selling some on eBay. It feels so good to get clutter out of the house Smile

I told DH today that i want the carpet in the living room replaced and the upstairs finally repainted. Then outside toys that are either broken or go unused need to go to donation. I said " we need to simplify". I feel like to is the last big chance to go through big toys and stuff before it gets warm next season and then the baby will be here and it will be too hard.

Thats great, sounds like many of us are starting to feel better now that the 2nd tri is here.

I have been procrastinating on doing needed things around the house, but only because i have been helping a friend who broke his ankle. things have been crazy since i got back from our trip.
