Movement?

When did you start feeling movement? What # child is this for you?

With my first, it was about 17-18 weeks when I felt movement. I swear with the other 3 it was more like 14 weeks for those first flutters that I was sure about. This time there have been once or twice I think I may have felt a flutter but haven't been able to tell. I am about 15 1/2 weeks now, so I worry that I should be feeling more with this being #5. Especially because the 2-3 times I think I may have felt something, I couldn't be sure if it was fluttery baby movements or maybe just digestion wiggles :/ I go in next Monday for my 16 week appointment, but it feels like so long from now when I'm worried about it. We haven't even told the kids yet because I have been worried. We will tell them Monday night if the appointment goes well.

Where's your placenta? If its front then the baby is kicking it and you won't notice for a while... I'm 19 weeks and just getting definately movement (interior... Still can't feel it outside).

This is my second baby. With DS I started feeling something at 16 weeks, but wasn't sure until a couple of weeks later.

This time, nothing, no flutters, no bubbles, nowt! I sometimes feel a hard lump pressing against my skin, and I assume that's the baby because it happens where I know the baby is. I thought because I didn't feel anything yet perhaps I had a placenta in front, but it's not. The scan on Friday showed that it was at the back and the top.

No idea where the placenta is--they didn't tell me at my 12 week appointment. I had a quick u/s to confirm dates, but that was it.

But you guys are making me feel better that I haven't felt anything definite. Smile I worry so much--pregnancy turns me into a paranoid mama. Having had 4 m/c doesn't help the paranoia either--though all of them were before 12 weeks. My neighbor though had a good appointment at 16 weeks and a week later miscarried so I know it happens and it stresses me out. I was also about 15 lbs lighter starting my other pregnancies where I felt baby sooner--maybe that extra fluff doesn't help things. I was still losing baby weight from my 19 month old when this one surprised us.

With DS (my first), I felt little fluttery movements around 18 weeks or so and that was my first time knowing for sure it was baby. This time around (#2), I have been feeling little jabs and pulse like movements for the past couple weeks that I'm not really sure if it is baby or other stuff because I anticipated having the fluttery movements like before. So I'm being my own worst skeptic right Blum 3 Baby may be tap dancing and shadow boxing away in there and I'm just having a hard time calling it for sure.

-HUGS- It's ok we all get nervous over stuff. I wouldn't be too worried. I started feeling flutters about 3 weeks ago. Then they stopped for 2 weeks and now I am starting to feel some movement again. With my First son I didn't feel anything until about 25 weeks. I don't know how you have kept quiet this long about the pregnancy! Your wonderwoman!

We have told our siblings and parents and a few close friends. But not everyone. So outside of our siblings and parents, about 7 people know. After our kids know on Monday, I'm sure everyone else will--which includes a large church congregation and all the kids school friends and parents LOL.
