Yup, we already have the named picked out for either gender it's never too early to talk names! Luckily d/h and I agree (for the most part) on names we like and don't...so it's pretty easy for us.

Evelyn dawn (dawn is named for my "grandma" who is passed her first name was Effie, but she went by her middle name dawn)... We've had this one picked since Ds1 was baking

Arthur Joseph (named for my two grandpas- both passed) this one was a deal we made when ds2 was baking... Ds2 has my Dh's favorite names so if we have a ds3 then I get mine.

We refer to the bean as "Arlyn"

Ar-lyn, that's such a cute nickname for bean!

We've already been talking names for quite some time. We had a terrible time deciding on both boys. We have very different taste. In fact, we're lucky we haven't had a girl yet, because through both of my previous pregnancies (not knowing the gender until birth) we never agreed on a girls name, not even in the delivery room.

This time, we've finally decided (almost) on a girls name. It's will probably be Leityn (or Leyton, or Layton, or Leighton). But we also both like the name Capri ... Maybe that would be the middle name. For a boy, I have a few faves: Heath, Trace, or Travis, in that order. DH isn't crazy about any of them, but he doesn't hate them, so it's a step in the right direction.

We have been talking names for months. All we really have picked is a middle name for a girl which is after my late grandmother. Athaleen. And I want to go with a first name that starts with S.

He likes Sophie for a girl, which is waaayyyy to popular for me. I won't use a popular name. I grew up as Kendra H. For YEARS.
My top name for a girl is Sumner and Sutton is a close second.

Then for a boy I like Schaeffer, Solomon and Sullivan. Middle name with be Albert after SO.
    He likes Samual....

Mamaterp- crazy...my mom's mom was named Effie as well, and she hated her name so she went by her middle name, which is Louise, so I'm thinking of using Louise for a middle name if we have a girl.

I realized about a month after we settled on that one (5 years ago) that if we have a girl I could have an "Ehvy Dawn" instead of Effie dawn

We like kind of old fashioned, not common names more than anything.

For a girl we our top picks were Elaine, Louise or Jane. For a boy, Dean, Clark, or Henry.

A girl middle name has to be Clara (family name, 2nd girl gets grandmother's middle name, since forever. I'm the only 2nd girl to not have only two girls in like 200 years. It switches between Margarette, which is mine, and Clara, which is my mom's. I'm tempted to buck the tradition and name a girl Clara Margarette... )

For a boy middle name, I just don't know.
