Who has furbabies??

Pictures! Smile

My 'baby' is Joy, a chocolate lab. My son has a golden retriever, Lucy, who is a doll. We love them crazy. And I have a big fat siamese named Zeus.

We have twin 6 yr old fat fat cats named Felix and Flynn. They are orange and white. People don't usually notice there's two until they are both in the room. We had a large dog for a very short period. He growled at Stetson and snapped at him. He now lives with a family fr8end who has 2 other shepards and about 5 acres. NJ

Our 5 year old cat we adopted as a kitten. She is friendly but skittish around DS, especially when he is being boisterous. She has some Siamese in her so she is very talkative.

We had a beautiful cat called Gus, who was a stray I adopted in 2003. Sadly he died in January. We've been travelling too much lately to be able to rehome another fluffy, so waiting till the time is right. DS still mentions him almost daily which is so heart-wrenching.

I was waiting for this one. I have had several Fur babies since I was a kiddo. My mother used to joke that I would have a zoo.

anyway we currently have 2 dogs 1 cat 1 turtle and fish.

I love love my Bella she is our saint bernard 5 years old.

And our newest addition is Joe who is Lilly's dog all the way. I had a very difficult time saying good bye to our Boxer when I was 8 months prego with Lilly, and it was hard he was my boy. I wish i would have waited a while before comiting to another dog, but Bella was just as heart broken to be missing her Buddy.
We got Joe as a puppy when Lilly was just 2 months old, a new baby and a new puppy, what was i thinking, well im just a bit crazy.
I don't regret it though since has been a fast learner, and loves Lilly soooo much.
He is her dog they are inseperable.
He is so great with her he lets her do what ever she wants to him, although I don't like her to treat him bad and correct her.

Lilly can put her hands in his moulth, take his toys, sit on jump on him, pull his ears, tail, paws, lips and has even poked him in the eye. he take s the abuse like a champ. never a growl, snap or what have you.
Joe is a mutt, golden retriever american bull dog mix. he is 2 years old.

Joe also protects her and gets upset if she is upset or crying.
Bella on the other hand is just as gentle but tends to avoid Lilly.

and on to the pic"s

Wow! I love all the big dog pics! People always think we are crazy for having a big dog, but i see that i am in good company here!

We have Sophie, our St. Bernard rescue. We got her after our lab/Newfoundland mix died almost 3 years ago. Sophie was found emacited and abandoned on the road, having chewed through her metal chain. She had to have several blood transfusions before they could even begin to try and put weight on her. So she is also small for a St. Bernard. She has never been above 123# since we've had her. She has lots of allergies and takes a ton of medications that are cheaper from the human drug store than the vet. Her medicines are right at $100/month, thats if she doesn't get a skin or ear infection on top of that and requires another vet visit and antibiotic. That gets old. But i
Love this dog so much, she is the sweetest thing ever.
This is not a great pic, but the only one i have on photobucket of her. This is a few years ago at Easter

W also have a yellow tabby cat named Sam. Im currently mad at him though because he is boycotting his litterbox since we went on vacation. I dont know what the problem is, but i have cleaned every day for two weeks and he keeps doing it.... Literally on the couch in the bonus room. So, he does not get a picture..... Haha
Actually i just dont have one on photobucket of him. But still......

My golden is small for one I think, she is about 60, the same as my choc lab. I think they are good sizes Smile
