So, I had a dream that I gave birth to a baby girl not boy like we were told. I know it's just a dream, but it got me thinking...and second guessing. Lol. We weren't going to find out the gender but d/h seemed like he really wanted to know, so we asked at the last minute. I thought it was a girl all along, but our tech. Said boy. She never gave us any "toilet" shots or wrote the gender on any of the pics. We got from the u/s. I decided to take another peek today. This is the closest pic. I have of any genitalia. Does this look like a definite "boy" ?
Sorry In advance for the large pic. Photobucket won't let me resize right now
With that picture, I'd say boy. If you look between the legs there are two white circles (one smaller than the other because of the angle I assume) which I would call the testicles.
The legs are crossed at the ankle so it's hard to tell. The two little circles do look like testicles, but I'd hope the tech got a better view before deciding one way or another! Will you have any more scans?

It's hard to tell from that pic, but I would think the tech got a good view during the ultrasound, just didn't take pics of it. I can't tell from that pic, but the tech has WAY more experience than any of us, so I would go with their opinion.
Do you have any growth scans or anything coming up that they could get another look to say for a second opinion?
No other pics. We did get some other views at the u/s - but I guess It didn't jump out at me- so to speak- that it was/is a boy. With my other 2 boys- very very obvious to me, but I was still guessing girl before the tech. Told us boy. Guess it really doesn't change much (but the name of course ) either way I'm happy for a healthy babe...I think my dream just made me loose my mind a little, haha. Seemed so real!
I think it looks like testicles too though it isn't the most clear shot. Like pp said, the tech was basing their guess hopefully on better views than the picture they gave you (assuming they printed that picture on purpose b/c they thought you didn't want to know gender for majority of the scan). You don't happen to have video of the scan on disc because then you could seek out a clearer shot.
