So exhausted

I'm really struggling with exhaustion at the moment. I don't know if it's the heat or the pregnancy but last time I started to feel better around this stage, and this time it seems to be getting worse Sad I'm finding DS really hard work. He gets a second wind after dinner and doesn't go to bed till 8 and I can hardly function by this time. Even if someone else is helping amuse him I feel tired just being in the room, makes me feel awful for him that I'm so detached. Right now he's making a cardboard robot with my uncle, but he's making so much noise and constantly talking or humming songs, and I just want to crawl into a dark corner Sad

Is anyone else feeling like this? I hope it ends soon.

I'm very very tired. Around 2 at work i feel like i can't possibly be awake another second. A couple times i've slept for 15 mins on the staff restroom floor

I do remember thinking that when I was pregnant with my second that it was the worst exhaustion ever. Having to keep up with a toddler was so so hard. I'm sorry you're facing that too!! I hope it gets better very soon!

You are not alone. I'm in similar exhaustion boat. I feel pretty pathetic at times with how little activity I do before I get tired. And I feel like I'm not interacting as much with DS and were doing less fun stuff outside because the heat just zaps me. We walked to a nearby park yesterday and just pulling him in his wagon a couple of blocks made me really tired...we used to make that trip almost everyday Sad I am hoping that I get more energy in my second tri like I did last time, when I was able to go hiking, kayaking, etc without too much difficulty.

Me too! I started to regain some energy the last few weeks it seemed, but this week I feel like a slug. Insomnia has taken over at night, so I'm sure that's partially the culprit. Luckily, I feel safe leaving my boys (ages 4.5 and 6) unattended for a bit watching a T.V. show, so I can take a quick nap while my d/d naps. I can't wait to get some energy back though. I've really been slacking on the household duties, but oh well. I usually don't beat myself up about it- as I know the dirty laundry and messy kitchen will still be waiting for me the next day;)

I am still super tired, too. I dont know if i we this tired with DD or not.... If so, maybe i just didnt have as much to do in the evening, so i could relax at night or even take a nap.
Everyday it feels like I'm walking through quicksand.
I hope it gets better as i enter the second trimester. Cause this is getting really old.......
