so I am interviewing some birth Doulas soon, but i am feeling worried i won't know who to choose, or that i won't pick the right one?

Anyone else still really tired? Some days are better than others but i have really tired days maybe 3 times a week.

My hips hurt soo much every night it seems more like the right side is worse, I am also having Round ligament pains quite a bit now.

One of my biggest complaints is the weigh gain. I have gained 20 lbs!!! :pissed: I never gain a pound until i was 20 weeks with Lilly. I know i am still smaller than i was when i got pg with Lilly but it worries me. also makes me think we are having a boy.

Not too many complaints here. Sleep is getting to be less comfortable as I'm having hip pain from sleeping on my sides most of the night. I have a pregnancy pillow but it doesn't help with the hip pain. I also have to be careful how I position my wrists as I find them being hyperflexed or hyperextended while I sleep. I tried wrapping my wrists into a neutral position but lately I've just been tucking them under my head pillows or inside my pregnancy pillow to keep them from traveling around. Oh, and constipation is an issue but I have the occasional cup of coffee which helps me out :needcoffee: Otherwise, doing pretty well overall.

Doing okay here. Tired at times, and I'm beginning to think its just worse this time around because life is different and busier.
My belly is getting bigger everyday it seems, and more movement is uncomfortable. I'm carrying pretty high. So bending over is quite uncomfortable.
However, i feel way more movement with this baby which is really nice. With and anterior placenta and the septum, i never felt DD move. So this has been a treat.
Our gender scan was scheduled for Friday but we got bumped because the dr. Was at the hospital and there was a complication. So, we are rescheduled for Wednesday.
On a fun note, the bump is getting me some freebies these days...... Pity mostly, but I'll take it. I got a refill on a lemonade at the fair today which was not in the price deal. The cashier at aldi helped me with a big box last week, and they never help with anything. And DH is picking up more slack with DD. Smile

Apart from the horrendous worry since the 20 week scan, very little to complain about here. The only thing, and it is slightly spooky, is that since 16 week I've had really crippling cramps in my right foot. The baby's right foot is apparently the one affected by talipes. I'm hoping it's her way of telling me it's a problem with her foot and nothing more.

Christina~ I am also suffering with hip pain mostly at night and I have to switch sides i am sleeping on so frequently i am up half the night. the worst side for me is the right. I have carpal tunnel in both wrist as well so i hear you on that too. I always wake up with numb hands and arms. it just gets worse until after baby is born. I got rid of my prego pillow cus it was way too huge and I only liked the bottom half any way, i just can't find one I want to invest money in right now. We are still cosleeping in a queen size bed. I hope to get DD in her toddler bed soon.

I'll add another one to my list: night sweats. I go to bed a decent temperature and then wake up in the middle of the night just hot as can be. I end up taking off my pjs to cool down and throw most of my bedding off (also have to nudge DH towards his side of the bed as it feels like I'm sleeping next to a furnace!). But then after all that, I wake up cold in the wee hours of the morning because I have no clothes on and just a sheet covering me...can't win with these crazy hormones Blum 3

Not too many complaints here. I am always tired, but I think its being a mom of 4 and pregnant. Smile I still worry that I haven't felt baby yet (that I can be sure of), but I did have a h/b check last monday and everything was fine. Can't wait until I have more movement that reassures me everything is fine. And we have our u/s next thursday so only a week and a few days to wait!

Another to add to the lair i had forgotten about...
Crazy dreams. Some nightmares others just crazy.
For example, last night i dreamed that i was in the hospital for something else, and my OB accused of lying when I said i wasnt in pain. He said that it wasn't possible and then took away some of the supplies in my room ( i think it some pads). So ridiculous because my OB is super agreeable and nice.
Every night i dream something crazy, sometimes related to pg and other times not at all.

Insomnia. I have had it since I was a kid, I choose not to take meds they make me really loopy and I don't enjoy it at all. So now that I am preggers again. It's terrible. 4 hours last night of tossing and turning or peeing or telling Dh to stop snoring. So is life.

I am also having some pretty bad hip pain. I have a body pillow and that doesn't seem to help. Heartburn. Ohhhh the heartburn.

I've been having some crazy dreams too. I read that it is because in pregnancy we spend more time in REM due to our increased estrogen, and we also have better dream recall because we are woken up so frequently in the middle of dreams from aches, needing to pee, etc. I'm reading a book "Do Chocolate Lovers Have Sweeter Babies?" which is an interesting read if you like learning about the scientific side of pregnancy and babies and it isn't dry reading at all.

While Pregnant I need to have a shirt made that says " I eat Tums Like Candy" seriously I have acid reflux disease and pregnancy just makes it worse. i was on meds after Lilly was born, after taking them for so long it started causing anxiety and sleep problems. but i found more natural ways of dealing with it, so tums are just my back up now. But still it comes when you least expect it.

I had way crazy dreams so much my first time pregnant i would wake dh jsut to tell him. I have only had a few this time around.

I will join the hip pain club now. I woke up at 5:30 this morning with my left hip killing me.
Also, nesting equals insomnia apparently. I have so many things to do before the baby arrives, and it's like it just hit me this week. Like, "oh crap!!!" Once December hits, were done ladies!!!!! It will be madness, then by the beginning of January, I'm full term and the 17P stops..... Then its game on. Baby can come any time, and were uncomfortable as all get out if we are still pg.
i am nesting/panicking. Anyone else?????

Arthur's newest trick it's laying on my sciatic nerve... At least he switches from side to side, unlike his brothers!
