So, I normally O around like CD20-24, but this month I decided to take nothing but prenatals, baby aspirin and extra folic acid and give my body a break and today I got a positive OPK. I am quite surprised! I'm only CD10! Last month I had a "psych out" early OPK and didn't O until the 2nd positive OPK. I would be shocked if I O'd this early!!
I've given up thinking any month will be it for me.
I did a 4.5 km walk today and decided I should pull my finger out and train to run it next year. I did it with no training in about an hour walking, and came in 3rd/4th (two of us finished at once) so pretty pleased with that
That's awesome! I am a runner but won't lie; I let TTC get in the way of losing weight/exercise. I can't help but think overdoing it will cause a problem or contribute to a problem.... need to let that go and focus on getting healthy!
Fx my temps go up tomorrow. CM seemed creamy tonight but I'm debating if it's creamy or sticky. I will just be tickled and shocked if I O'd this early
As a "science experiment" I actually am temping both orally and vaginally this month. The FF temps are orally and I'm using TCOYF for the vaginal (different thermometers if you're curious...lol) Today my temps were the same for both! I did that too Sarah! A few cycles ago I did both oral and vaginal. I found just for the 'no therm in the mouth' factor alone I much prefer vaginal temping now. FTR, I can't see your tcoyf chart though...

I run too. I did a 5k back in April and have another one scheduled for June 15. I keep booking myself races that are only 5k cause I don't want to commit to too much in case I get pregnant. The longer this ttc takes though, the more I feel like I should just book a 10k or half and start the training. Ugh, so conflicting in my head though.
Hi Jordan, I think I prefer the vaginally. I agree; it's easier when you're in a daze just waking up. It sure stays in place easier and I notice to get the most accurate temp orally it almost has to hurt where you position it in your mouth. People also say it's more consistent in case of mouth sleeping, etc. I can truly believe that! I think I am going to do both this whole cycle and see how the charts look in the end.
I did a half back in Feb. and one the previous Feb. (The Disney princess one) and you can so see for this one that my time sucked because I didn't train because I kept thinking I was going to get pregnant every month, and I would just end up walking a lot of it anyway...lol. Well, I was wrong and I came in like 40 mins. slower than last year for the exact same course! Unbelievable.
Anyway, I am so over revolving my life around it in the sense that I would rather be TTCing skinnier than I am if it's going to take 2 years or 3 years anyway, may as well focus on the fitness level/health first and not worry (what if I get an annov. cycle/maybe implantation won't take because I'm exercising too much/will this running be overdoing it/what about my hormones/what if this causes an early mc etc.)
I can't figure out how to link it, but here it is. I like some things about each site, and I think the perfect site would actually be a combination of both! lol
