    Default Weight gain and clothing

Okay so I am starting to freak out because I have already gained like 9-10 lbs in only 2 weeks!!!

This wouldn't bother me so much but it is way to early to be gaining like that. I can't fit most of my pants and i am trying really hard not to cry over it.

Mind you i have always been large my adult life, and i never gained until i was around 13 weeks with my DD. I did gain a total of 35 lbs, but I worked really hard and lost it all plus another 38 lbs. total loss of 73 lbs, trust me it wasn't easy and i have not change much of anything since i found out i was pregnant this time.

I try and track my weight more closely since i want to be as healthy as possible it just all changed for me once Lilly was born.

That is how i was able to make the changes necessary to lose the weight in the first place.
Most of it is pretty simple eat breakfast every morning, take my vitamins, drink only water and milk, no eating after 8 pm ever! and get in at least 20 min of exercise a day, mostly walking, and some crunches. eat majority of my calories in the day time.

I have been damn proud of my changes, and I worry that somethings not right.

Please tell me im not the only one?

I wonder if I am , A. having twins or B. farther along????

Neither of which makes sense since I know i had a normal for me cycle in April 4 day bleed the 2 day spotting, and was the same in may.

I have also read that you don't gain until later with twins, so what gives?

on a side note i am still nursing Lilly, she is slowly weaning we are down to 2-3 nursing a day.

I know it's hard not to worry- especially since you have worked soo hard to loose weight, but I'm sure everything is fine- keep in mind, when your pregnant you gain weight in places you don't necessarily see right away, such as your breasts and uterus- plus extra water weight. I would bet that's the extra weight you have gained. As long as you are eating as healthy as you can and exercising a little, I'm sure everything will be fine! Hang in there momma- your doing great!!!

Also, as an added side note- my weight when Im NOT pregnant tends to fluctuate +/- 5 lbs. b/c of water alone hope that makes you feel a little better!

Not only do you get water weight from the early pregnancy super bloat, but your blood volume is increasing too, which can weigh quite a bit!! Don't beat yourself up!

I lost 55 pounds when we were ttc, because they thought it would help me ovulate (it didn't), and I weighed at the dr yesterday and I'm up 7 from my pre preg weight. I do hate it too. It is sooo hard to take it off, and the idea of doing it over is super frustrating and upsetting. (not to mention, because of this awful bloat, I had to pull out a couple of pre-weight-loss pants!! omg, that was awful!!)

I have put on probably 5 to 7 pounds but I don't fit in anything. Which is mostly from bloat and water, been in Mat pants for a week and a half. I feel like I look like I am 14 weeks pregnant. Don't stress too much.

I thought I had gained some weight too when I weighed myself earlier this week, but I think it is back to baseline now when I weighed this morning. I'm guessing bloat was the biggest cause. I have been chugging so much water these past couple days because it's so hot here right now and I think that is actually helping my body flush out better, though it means I have to pee a lot Plus my appetite has normalized these past few days, I was eating frequently throughout the day and late into the evening all last week, lots of salty stuff too which probably didn't help with water retention.

It sounds like you are eating healthy and exercising so you are doing good for you and baby but I understand how the early weight gain is frustrating for you.

Thanks everyone, i wish I didn't struggle so much with self image at times, Im blaming the hormones geez. I did weigh myself in the am and was 4 lbs lighter, it must be water retention and bloat. But i am super hungry at times.
