Default When did your babies come?

I was talking with DH and it got me thinking. When did your babies come in relation to their EDD?

With DS I was due 12-20 and He came one 12-21 because I was induced on my EDD. Went into the office that AM and had really high blood pressure and my doc felt more comfortable getting the baby out then waiting any longer.

DS was due Jan 10th and I was mentally prepared to go that long or even beyond as I had read that FTM tend to deliver after their EDD. However when I went in for my 36 week appt on a Wednesday Dec 14th my midwife noticed my blood pressure was elevated (for me that meant it was actually in my typical normal range at that point as I had been running hypotensive my whole pregnancy). She decided to do a blood draw and have me do a 24 hour urine collection. On Thursday Dec 15th, the day after my appt, my midwife called me just before noon to tell me labs were all out of whack and I needed to be admitted to the hospital immediately to induce labor. She mentioned HELLP syndrome which I had never heard of and in hindsight am glad I didn't google before delivery because I didn't know at the time all the bad things that could happen. So I was admitted around 1 pm in complete shock that I was delivering a baby that early and in a hospital. They only had to break my water for induction as I was 4cm dilated and completely effaced and I was already having contractions. DS arrived shortly before 7pm that day.

So I guess long story short, I don't really know what to expect this time around. I hope this little baby will be able to bake longer. My current OB is having me take low dose aspririn until 13 weeks because there have been studies suggesting BP issues are related to restricted placental-utero circulation and the aspirin is thought to help if taken early on in pregnancy. I really hope I don't develop HELLP again because the magnesium sulfate drip made me feel so weird and hot, and I felt so run down for couple weeks after. I hear I have a higher risk of having HELLP a second time but I also hear that my risk is decreased by having baby with same partner.

My first was 9 days before EDD--which I did NOT expect at all since I heard first ones are generally late. Then my 2nd was 2 days before EDD, 3rd was 4 days after EDD. And 4th was 7 days after EDD. Soooo....I'm guessing this one will be at least a week late if not more. :/ So even though my EDD is March 3rd, I'm not holding out much hope--though you never know with babies. But come to think of it, the actual delivery date was almost always spot on with MY original calculations of ovulation before doctors changed it after a dating u/s.

I had rapid onset severe pre-e with my first... Delivered via non emergency emergency c-sec ( basically they had time to set up and give me a spinal but they weren't gonna wait and see) at 32 weeks (bp was in the 190/160 range). I did the low dose aspirin with my second (whole pregnancy) and he was born via vbac non induced on his due date.

My water broke at 33 weeks and she was breech so we had a c/s then. When they did the c/s they found that i had a huge uterine septum which is why she was breech the whole time and i delivered early. There was literally no more room in there.
But i had the septum removed a year later. So, we are hoping to make it until full term this time around. They are planning a repeat c/s at 38 weeks because they dont want me to go into labor on my own. My uterus isn't strong enough for it. The til of rupture is high with the septum scar and c/s scar.

I imagine your uterus looks like it has cross hairs on it... lol

Hahaha! Yes, it does look like a crosshair on the inside. The surgeon actually said at my follow up visit, " you're uterus is like a bad pop-up tent at best. There's no vbac for you." So, that was when i gave up my hopes for a natural delivery at that moment.

I was 7 to 10 days past my edd, I say that because I had a few due dates my calculation and theirs.

basically i was due august 15th and had her on the 23rd which was a Tuesday, i remember my appointment on the 19th i was at 2 cm, and they told me if i hadn't gone in to labor by Thursday it was induction Friday am.

D/S 1 was born on his due date (very rare occurrence ) D/S 2 was born a couple days before my due date (I elected to be induced as my OB was about to leave on vacation) and D/D was born at 38+5? My water broke with my D/S 1 and D/D. I imagine it would have broke with D/S 2 as well, had I not been induced. I'm guessing this one will be a bit early as well- but that's just a guess.

I am hoping to go early this time. My mother is turning 50 on Feb 11th and I am due the 19th. Not holding my breath but wouldn't that be a great 50th present? We have 3 cousins that share her bday currently.
