I'm sure you already know this, but I just found out from one of DH's uncles who has horses and offered up horse manure. If you use manure, you should let it sit for a year before you put it in your garden. I guess it can be too acidic and burn the roots of your plants.
So this morning I found 3 or 4 baby squash in my garden along with 2 tiny cucumbers. My peppers and tomatoes have flowers on them too. So excited! I did put some Seven on last night because last year I lost most of my crop to beetles. Hopefully this will help to not have that problem this year.

Shoot.... I did not know that! I will need to ask him how long its been composting... he mentioned that the greens in there were all organic (meaning, no pesticides) and that they were al the clipping from last year... so. hmm!!
Thank so much for letting me know!!!!
WOOOT!!! How exciting!!! Darn beetles! I heard they were pretty bad in my area too... I am hoping to find something to keep them at bay!!!So this morning I found 3 or 4 baby squash in my garden along with 2 tiny cucumbers. My peppers and tomatoes have flowers on them too. So excited! Today is MY day (or, my weekend...) I get to plant!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!! It feels like forever!!!! I am getting some more soil the pallet garden and I need to buy a ho LOL.... WOOT!!!
Yay for planting! Each time I go out into my garden I find more things growing! I am hoping it is ok with the Seven that I put on it. I have never used a pesticide before.
