How's it going?

How is everyone's garden doing? I dug up the squash and zucchini because they had some kind of disease. I bought new seeds to plant in its place. Because our growing season is from March to November, I still have plenty of time. I also replanted 2 of the tomato plants to replace the ones that died. I am not coming out ahead financially this year with my garden, but I enjoy it and it is helping me to get outside more.

glad you are getting a chance to enjoy your garden Smile

My strawberries are not going anywhere. There are leaves and runners going on, but no flowers or berries.

Is it your first year with strawberries? Something makes me think that is one of the plants that do not start to produce until the second year. I could be wrong on that.

My husband calls our tomatoes the "$5" tomatoes. By the time you make the beds, get the soil going, set up a composter, etc...they are pretty expensive...but they taste SOOOOO good!

I think mine might be more than that even Smile It is ok though, year by year I am getting better and learning more about what to do.
