Thread: I need a drink!

Today is going to be a sad day. We have the fireman's funeral at 11 and I am leaving in about 45 minutes. The viewing was last night and Randy looked really good. Much better than what I thought he would considering the cancer hit him really fast and he deteriated that fast.

I was at the viewing until about 7 and left before they closed the casket. I couldn't watch that. There were so many firemen there and the policemen gave him a salout (did I spell that right?) since Randy's son is a policeman.

Well, I guess I should get a little work done before I have to leave.

The funeral was very nice but VERY long. 3 hours from start to finish. His family held out very well. A lot of tears were shed and a lot of joy was mixed in as well. Please keep the Norman family in your prayers.

Jacob Andrew Wisseman is 3 today! I can't believe it. I made brownies and took them to his daycare, he was very excited about that. We are having a party for him tonight at the house for family and a few friends. He is excited about that too. I am leaving at 12 today to go get the rest of the stuff. I hadn't even bought him any presents yet. I will do that this afternoon.

Well, I am only here for another hour and 20 minutes so I better get back to work!

Jacob is staying at my grandmother's tonight so this should be interesting. I wonder if he will make it all night.

Now that it is the 3 of us, I am not sure what we will get into tonight. Hopefully not staying home. I do need to clean a bit though.
