The weekend's weather was pretty shitty. Didn't get any pool time which I was pissed about since I had to go buy a bathing suit and wasn't too thrilled with the one I got.

Micky's grandmother fell and broke one of her ribs while we were with her on Sunday night. Spent 3 agonizing at the hospital with a cranky 16 month old only to have Micky take us home early since the doctor's hadn't even x-rayed her at that time. He didn't get back home till after 1am or so. Then she calls me the next morning to tell me that my grandfather fell and broke his arm. I can't believe that she called to tell me that and not my own mother. How horrible is that? Oh well. I called him this morning and he is in pretty good spirits. He wants Micky to come over and program his new scanner. He is sooo nosey....LOL!

I am coming down with something. My head feels fuzzy and I have a sore throat. Didn't sleep worth crap last night and I was exhausted!

Today is the 1st day of Scott Peterson's trial. I just hope that they can PROVE that he did it so he gets convicted. I personally have no doubt in my mind that he did do it but they have no murder weapon or anything. Nothing that will pin it directly on him and it disgusts me to no end.

I remember being in labor with Lexi on 2/10/03 and thinking about Laci almost all day. Lexi was born on Connor's due date. *sigh*

AAAHHHHH! Race Week! I love it! Where city and country meet.....:) Can't wait till Sunday! I am going to be miserable, it's supposed to be hot but I will deal with it I guess. I can always go to the camper if I get too hot.

Sex last night was routine once again. It's seems like it is the same thing every time. I know when he is going to do this or when he is going to do that and for how long. How long he wants me to continue this.....:blahblah: It is really erking me. I am to the point where I could care less about sex. IT IS DRIVING ME INSANE! Sex is no where near what it used to be. NO WHERE!

I feel so productive at home right now and I love it. Dishes are getting done and put away EVERY NIGHT. I have been washing about 2 loads of laundry a night and they are getting folded and put away EVERY NIGHT. The floor gets cleaned up every night when Lexi goes to bed. I am keeping her room clean and tidy. The top of her dresser is cleaned off now and that was a MAJOR chore. I went through her dresser and closet this past weekend and packed away all of her winter clothes and ones that don't fit anymore. Once we get a computer hooked up at home, I am selling her stuff on ebay. I will make a killing! All that money will go into her account. I am saving my favorite outfits but all the others are going. It feels really good to have a clean house. I need to dust and windex tonight. Might even make it to the flower beds tonight. Not going to push that though since it has been hot. Micky hasn't said anything about it but I am sure it is due to the fact that he doesn't want to jinx it since he is usually the one that always vacuums and does the laundry... Yes Ladies he usually does ALL the laundry....

My allergies are still kicking my ass and I hope it clears up soon. I hate feeling like an air head. My ears are now clogged and they pop every 3 minutes or so and it hurts like hell.

Micky is working a 36 hour shift so he will get off at 7 tonight. He went in yesterday at 7am.

We ARE having tacos tonight. I have been craving them like crazy and M always wants something else, well tonight he is SOL if he wants something else cuz' I am making TACOS! YUMMMYYY! Last night I fried some pork chops, made rice and some string beans for Lex and I. She ate a mess of string beans and 3 pieces of butter bread. She is so picky. Reminds me alot of her father.. I though the chops were excellent. M doesn't eat pork so I make it when he works. Problem solved! Also ate the rest of the deviled eggs that Honey brought over the other night.

Got my ebay PayPal account straighted out. That was a big ass mess. UGH! I got the money order sent out the other day for my lot of maternity clothes. I wanted to use paypal but from where it was my OLD email address with all my OLD address and telephone numbers, I couldn't make a new account with the same bank account. Luckily the seller was really understanding. My payment didn't get sent out till 7 days AFTER the auction was over. She should have it today though, it only had to go to South Carolina.

Got my Capital One MasterCard the other day. My credit limit is actually higher than what they told me it would be....YAY! BUT! It is only for emergencies. Might save it for Christmas too! Although I might charge $50 -$100 a month and pay it off when I get the bill. Will improve my credit more and my limit will be adjusted as they audit my account. We shall see!

My mom called the ambulance to take her to the hospital last night.. She is so overdramatic. She gets sick and thinks she is dying. It is soooooo annoying. M grandmother called me and asked if I had the scanner one, I told her I did but it wasn't turned up. She said, doesn't your mom live so and so and drive a black mustang so I told her yes and then she told me that the call was dispatched as an allergic reaction. So me being the good daughter that I am called her to make sure she was ok. She was very blunt with me and said that she called the ambulance and that she was having an allergic reaction to one of her meds. She said Mike was meeting her at the hosiptal. I told her to have someone call me to keep me informed. That was it. Very short and to the point. My sister calls later and said that Mike called her and said that she was hooked up to an EKG machine and an IV and was pretty much out of it. He asked her if she would go down and stay the night with her. He didn't want her to be by herself. WHY COULDN'T HE STAY WITH HER, HE DOES ANY OTHER TIME? Apparently he has a friend in from South Dakota for the race on Sunday. Nice to see what is more important. So my sister calls out of work and drives almost an hour to her house from where she lives. THEN Mike calls me at about 11pm to tell me that they released her. All she did was break out in hives, she had that happen before........once again..... He was very pleasant with me and asked how I was. I was very polite and didn't cuss him. The strange thing is that I really didn't feel the need too. I am still :pissed: at her though for the things that she said to me.

I still feel like crap. I think I am going to the doctor tomorrow. Thank God they have walk-in Saturday hours. I have had this for a week now and nothing is working. I know there isn't much they can do but something has to be done.

Eating chinese for lunch and it is sssoooo good! Shrimp and brocolli with wonton soup. Smile

I think we are going to Ruby Tuesdays for dinner too! One of my favorite rests.

My boss better come back with our checks. We usually have them 1st thing in the morning when she comes in. It's now 1pm and she left the office. I just wrote out over $1000.00 in bills and I need that check...LOL!

Lexi was a beast last night, she wore my patience sooo thin. Hopefully this weekend will be good with her. I hope I feel better soon, the race is Sunday! I'm gonna steal Dale Jr.

**COPIED PART FROM A POST ON THE JAN 03 BOARD**

I wasn't feeling good at all but I made the best of it. Friday night I didn't feel like cooking so we went to Pizza Hut for dinner. It was good. Lexi ate Pineapple from the salad bar and a few small pieces of pizza. She wanted the pineapple instead....lol!

Saturday we all slept till 11 or so before Lexi decided it was time to get up for the day. Made some fried pototos and Micky decides he wants to go to the mall. He needs a new hat. I was up for it since I was going to get my Loius Vuittan knock off for $85.00. Better than paying $1600.00 for it. Got there and there was no more...:( I was bummed. But I got the small wallet for $40.00. Will have to check in with them next week to see if they got more bags in. I HAVE TO HAVE IT! Went to Bath and Body works and got more Jasmine Vanilla boy wash since I just ran out. Then went to Wal-Mart to grocery shop. VERY BUSY! Then came home and relaxed. Lexi was a beast that night and I was ready to hang her from the ceiling at 7pm....... :pissed: She is going through the terrible 2's way too early!

Sunday - again slept till 11. We were supposed to go to the race but ended up not feeling like it so we stayed home to watch it. Lexi took a nap around 2 so I followed suit. Was woken up by F#*K F#*K over and over again. I run to the living room and Micky is cussing the TV. He ends up waking Lexi and scares her half to death. She would go near him for about 10 minutes. Man he ticks me off when he does that. He has the biggest temper when it comes to NASCAR. Went to Hockers to get some meats and ended up spending another $100.00 there. Came home and cleaned the kitchen, did 2 loads of laundry and put them away. Micky grilled chix boobs on the grill. I made corn on the cob, mac and brocolli and string beans. Lexi ate SOOO good. She ate a bunch of string beans, 2 pieces of butter bread and some macaronni. Getting her to eat is like pulling teeth. I was ssooo proud of her for eating like a big girl. I know she was full when I took her out of her high chair. Only 1 piece of bread in the seat.

Lexi went to bed around 11 and Micky and I stayed up till midnight or so just talking and laughing. It was nice. We hadn't done that in a long time. He told me I was acting crabby on Saturday and I asked him if he was kidding and he said that this pregnancy is a WHOLE lot different than the last one... Sad I guess I need to work on that. I can't tell.

Not sure what is planned for the rest of the week but I know that I have to go have my eye brows waxed, they are getting out of control!

Title: Redneck Woman

Well, I ain't never been the Barbie doll type
No, I can't swig that sweet Champagne, I'd rather drink beer all night
In a tavern or in a honky tonk or on a four-wheel drive tailgate
I've got posters on my wall of Skynyrd, Kid and Strait
Some people look down on me, but I don't give a rip
I'll stand barefooted in my own front yard with a baby on my hip
'Cause I'm a redneck woman
I ain't no high class broad
I'm just a product of my raising
I say, 'hey ya'll' and 'yee-haw'
And I keep my Christmas lights on
On my front porch all year long
And I know all the words to every Charlie Daniels song
So here's to all my sisters out there keeping it country
Let me get a big 'hell yeah' from the redneck girls like me, hell yeah

Victoria's Secret, well their stuff's real nice
But I can buy the same damn thing on a Wal-Mart shelf half price
And still look sexy, just as sexy as those models on TV
I don't need no designer tag to make my man want me

Well, you might think I'm trashy, a little too hardcore
But in my neck of the woods I'm just the girl next door
I'm a redneck woman
I ain't no high class broad
I'm just a product of my raising
I say, 'hey y'all' and 'yee-haw'
And I keep my Christmas lights on
On my front porch all year long
And I know all the words to every Tanya Tucker song
So here's to all my sisters out there keeping it country
Let me get a big 'hell yeah' from the redneck girls like me, hell yeah
I'm a redneck woman
I ain't no high class broad
I'm just a product of my raising
I say, 'hey y'all' and 'yee-haw'
And I keep my Christmas lights on
On my front porch all year long
And I know all the words to every ol' Bocephus song
So here's to all my sisters out there keeping it country
Let me get a big 'hell yeah' from the redneck girls like me, hell yeah
Hell yeah, hell yeah
Hell yeah
I said hell yeah!

I'm tired!

Micky's ex-wife called me this morning at 6:59am! to talk about her 5 point harness carseat. She wanted to know if we wanted it for Lexi.....UMM....it is 7am and I am really in no mood to talk about car seats. Some people just don't think. I don't like the idea of using a "pre-owned" car seat anyway. Not that I don't trust her or anything but I will buy all new car seats when I need to but I told her that I would take just to be nice. The car seat is like 8 years old anyways.

CINDY CINDY CINDY...........:( Sorry your not preggers this month! (((((HUGS))))) Don't step down, I don't think it is our fault the board is dead. I see people (no names mentioned here) lurking on it all the time. They must not have the time. I think that is the problem. Some of theother birth boards are the same way. Hell, Feb. 03 is slowing down as well. The traffic there isn't what it used to be either! Don't leave...PLEASE? with sugar on top????? Wink

I'll post about my sexcapade later....;) Let me just say that it was soooo NOT routine! Sorry TMI! :censored:

Got my oil changed in my truck this morning. I was about 20,000 miles over....BAD KYM! BAD KYM! I just haven't had the time. I thought it would be a mess once they opened up my oil thing but they never mentioned it. Only cost $30.00 at Jiffy Lube.

Didn't do much last night. I did go home and weed a 3 foot by 3 foot section of my flower bed but then a spider crawled out and a frog jumped on my hand so I called it quits. I HATE FROGS AND SPIDERS! :spooked: Then a metal rake scratched my foot all up. Stayed outside with Lexi for a bit till Micky came home and he cooked some delicious steaks on the grill. Made baked pototos and corn inside. Lexi ate grapes for dinner. Very nutricious huh? I can't get that girl to eat for the life of me sometimes. It is sooooo frusterating.

Got my shower and washed the dishes. Lexi went to bed around 10:30 and then we followed suit. But not before some AWSOME :sex: WOW! Is all I got to say. Might go for again tonight. It helped that he was chewing strawberry bubble gum too! I know! I am weird!

Micky is picking Lexi and me in about 1/2 hour so I better get my desk cleaned off for the night. Might take her to the park for awhile. She loves it outside! Smile

Good Night!

Didn't get to take Lexi to the park last night like I wanted. Micky thought it was too hot.... What a wuss. I was a bit :pissed: but what was I to do. I wanted to take her tonight but I had to go pick her up from day care this morning about an hour after I dropped her off. She was running a low-grade fever. So my grandmother met me over to my house and it watching her today. Good thing my grandmother lives less than 1000 feet away. Not sure how we managed that but things happen for a reason. She seems fine right now. Maybe her teeth? Hopefully she is ok tonight. Micky is working his 24 hour shift.

Didn't get much accomplished last night. Micky cooked hot dogs on the grill for him and Lexi and I made Hamburger Helper. I didn't feel like cooking alot. Lexi ate about 3/4 of a hot dog and some grapes.

Went to bed at 9:30 when Lexi went to bed who just about passed out she was so tired. Hopefully she does that tonight as well. I really need to start sleeping more and getting a reserve built up if that is even possible.

Micky just called to cuss at me cuz' I haven't been buying him Code 3 firetrucks.... Does he not know that is birthday is exactly one month away? Or that Father's Day is 10 days away. Obviously he has forgotten.

Indegestion is kicking my ass again today! UGH! Got my registration packet from Beebe today to get me registered for the hospital incase I go into labor early. My c-section is all set up as well.

Well, Lexi is really sick. UGH! I didn't get anything done last night that I wanted too! I did manage to get Lexi to eat 1 small piece of apple, 2 or 3 jello pudding bites and 2 1/2 french fries with ketchup. She fell asleep in my arms about 6pm and that is when I knew for sure that she wasn't feeling good. I gave her a bath and that perked her up for about an hour but after that it was back to feeling yucky. I put her in bed at 8:30 an hour earlier than usual and she fell right asleep. Then a big storm came through. I thought it would wake her up but she slept right through it. I actually went and sat in her rocker while the storm was going on so if she woke up I would be right there for her. The storm ended at about 10:30 so I went back into our room. She woke up at 11:30 crying. I tried to put her in our bed but she couldn't get comfortable. I finally gave her a bottle at 1:30 and she went right back to sleep. She whimpered off and on but never woke up fully. She woke up very cranky and fussy this morning. Her fever last night was about 100.4 and this morning it was 99.1. She is pulling on her ears and coughing so I think it might be an ear infection. Could be teeth too but I have no idea. I am taking her to the doctor tomorrow. I hate it when she is sick. Sad

Micky came home for a few minutes this morning before heading off to Clark's. He layed in bed with me for a few minutes and then got the trash and left. He has off all weekend again!!! YAY! No pool again this weekend. This will be the 3rd weekend in a row.

I NEED to go grocery shopping. My fridge and freezer are bare!!!! Good for me though cuz' that means I won't eat as much. But it doesn't help that there is a big ass box of ice cream sandwhiches in the freezer that we got from Sam's Club........*sigh*

**Taken from a post I made on the Jan. 03 and Feb. 03 boards..**

HAND, FOOT and MOUTH DISEASE!

I had to pick her up early from daycare early on Thursday. She was running a low grade fever and of course, she couldn't stay with that. She was fine other than that. Thursday night she didn't sleep well at all. Friday she was coughing and pulling her ears so I thought maybe it was an ear infection. I decided I would take her to the doctor on Saturday if it got worse. I noticed a blister like bump on her face but didn't think anything more of it. Friday night more rough sleep. She woke up on Saturday in a horrible mood, which is not like her. Now I noticed another blister on her hand and a ton on her diaper area and her back left leg. She was coughing more and not eating at all. Off to the doctor we went. He checked her mouth and the reason she was pulling on her ears was because her throat was hurting. Those sores covered the back of her throat. He said it is a very common illness in children from 6 months to 4 years of age. He also said that she probably got it from a kid in day care. There is only one other kid in there with Lexi and that is her cousin who also came down with it on Saturday. Who knows who she got it from. He said it is a virus and no meds will touch it or be needed. I am to alternate between Motrin and Tylenol and to give her soft, cold foods for the next few days and to keep her out of daycare for a week. She slept ALOT better last night and was still asleep when I left for work at 8am. I am so lucky that my grandmother lives right across the field so she can watch Lexi when she is sick.

I swear, if it isn't one thing it is another.......
:?

The weekend went well considering the fact that Lexi wasn't feeling well at all. She finally slept good last night but of course, I didn't. I was up at 12:30am eating oreos and milk.... Finally fell asleep around 4 am but had to be up at 6 to get M up and ready. I crashed until 7 and then I was REALLY dragging. M works a 24 hour shift so I have the bed all to myself so I might be able to sleep tonight...:)

After I took Lex to the doctor on Satruday, we went to Wal-Mart, had to do some grocery shopping. Spent WAY too much money, as usual, and had the back of my truck jammed packed. We had an awsome dinner of grilled chicken boobs, baked potatos and herb and butter rice. It was sooo good.

Sunday ~ Made breakfast while M went to help my dad do something..not sure what it was....he came home with a cantalope and 2 boxes of TGI Fridays hot wings since that is all I have been eating lately..wonder why I have so much indegestion.....LMAO! M cleaned out the front gutters and boy was it nasty and the pipes were clogged really bad. Lex went down for a nap at 2 and didn't get up till 5:30... I layed down at 3:30 and got up when she did. Those little power naps are just what I need. Wish I could it during the week. Last night we had hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill, corn on the cob, Baked beans and fresh tomoto slices. I tried to get Lexi to eat some hot dog but her throat must still bother her. She ate some string beans and a little can of pineapple. Man that child loves her fruit. She had some grapes and watermelon slices for dessert around 9pm...LOL! She went to bed at 10 or so and woke up only once at 3:30. She was giggling and laughing when I went in there. It was so sweet. I made her a bottle and she fell back asleep. She was still passed out when I left for work at 8am. I was kinda hoping she would be awake so I could check her sores but Honey said she would call me if it got worse or if there were more. I haven't received a phone call so all must be well.

Indegestion was SO bad this weekend. It is driving me crazy. It seems like I get it after EVERYTHING I eat. Plus the whole pressure thing, I swear this child is going to just fall right out and he is only about a pound or a little more right now. I don't know how I will be able to get through the next coming months....UGH!

My SIL's baby shower is the 26th. I need to get some more shopping done. She is due at the end of July. She's having a little boy too! Can't wait! To bad the sperm donor is a major :censored:-up! I am so glad that she decided to give him her last name and not the fathers. They have been on and off for the last 5 years but he has shown his true colors in the last 2 months so she had it and left. I'd like to :slap: him if I could.

I am so :pissed: off right now at my cousin it isn't even funny! I took Lexi to her this morning since there were not going to be any other kids there and I told D that on Saturday. I get Lex there this morning and right away Lexi goes searching for the toys. D hasn't cleaned them yet...WTF? What is she supposed to do all day? I had an elmo, a doll and a plastic book in her diaper bag. That will keep her occupied for a whole 2 minutes. So I have M call into work so he can be home with her. So he went to pick her up. I felt so bad when I left. I mean, she was searching for the toys....:( It might not be that big a deal to some but it was to me. They better be clean tomorrow or I will flip the :censored: out!

You know what I hate? When people come in the office and they don't speak a lick of English and they look at ME as if I am the one with the problem. HELLO? THIS IS AMERICA! We speak English here. I personally think that is they are going to come to this country to become a "US CITIZEN" they should have to pass a written AND oral English test. It is sooo rediculous and obnoxious. I should not have to learn any other language to cater to their needs. If you can't speak it or understand it, sorry bout' your luck. Looks like you are SOL!

Title : I Want To Live

Sometimes I feel like I need to shake myself, to wake myself:
I feel like I'm just sleep walkin' through out life.
It's like I'm swimmin' in an ocean of emotion,
But still, somehow, slowly goin' numb inside.
I don't like who I'm becomin', I know I've gotta do somethin',
Before my life passes right by.

I want to cry like the rain, cry like the rain,
An' shine like the sun on a beautiful mornin'.
Sing to the heavens like a church bell ringin',
Fight with the devil an' go down swingin'.
Fly like a bird, roll like a stone,
Love like I ain't afraid to be alone.
Take everything that this world has to give:
I wanna live.

Sometimes I wonder why I work so hard to guard my heart.
Well, I hardly feel anything at all.
I've spent my whole life buildin' up this ivory tower.
Now that I'm in it, I keep wishin' it would fall.
So I can feel the ground beneath me, really taste this air I'm breathin',
And know that I'm alive.

I wanna live,
I wanna live.

Somethin' deep inside keeps sayin life is like a vapor:
It's gone in just the twinklin' of an eye.

Take everything that this world has to give.
I wanna take every breath I can get:
I wanna live.

Yeah, yeah.

I am getting really pissed. The ebay lady got my money order last Tuesday. She was supposed to mail the stuff "priority" last Wendsday. As of this afternoon, I still haven't got it. If it doesn't come tomorrow, I am leaving negative feedback. She keeps giving me the run around and I am sick of it. I sent her 49 :censored: dollars. It is coming from South Carolina. Only has to come through 3 states. Shouldn't take this long at all. :pissed: :pissed: :pissed:

Song : Whiskey Lullaby

She put him out like the burnin' end of a midnight cigarette
She broke his heart he spent his whole life tryin' to forget
We watched him drink his pain away a little at a time
But he never could get drunk enough to get her off his mind
Until the night

He put that bottle to his head and pulled the trigger
And finally drank away her memory
Life is short but this time it was bigger
Than the strength he had to get up off his knees
We found him with his face down in the pillow
With a note that said I'll love her till I die
And when we buried him beneath the willow
The angels sang a whiskey lullaby

The rumors flew but nobody knew how much she blamed herself
For years and years she tried to hide the whiskey on her breath
She finally drank her pain away a little at a time
But she never could get drunk enough to get him off her mind
Until the night

She put that bottle to her head and pulled the trigger
And finally drank away his memory
Life is short but this time it was bigger
Than the strength she had to get up off her knees
We found her with her face down in the pillow
Clinging to his picture for dear life
We laid her next to him beneath the willow
While the angels sang a whiskey lullaby

Had a wonderful weekend! We had Micky's daughter on Saturday. She turned 9 on Friday. If she was biologically mine I would have 14 when I had her..... She's a great kid and loves her little sister to death. She wants us to name the new baby Kevin. Not sure if I like that or not. I "think" we finally have a name picked out but of course we are not 100% sure. It will be a secret anyways once we do decide. Secret

Micky went fishing Saturday night around 10pm and didn't get home till 3am. They didn't catch anything. Lol

Went to the pool Sat. and Sun. and I got WAY too much sun. I am really regretting it and feeling like shit. I walked around the house last night without my shirt and bra. What a sight that was! M kept saying, "Good God! Look at those porno boobs!" MEN! But it felt sooo good to let the sunburn get air. I wanted to put some vinegar on it but I didn't want it to bother Lexi's eyes if I picked her up so I just had M put tons of aloe on it.

Had an awsome BBQ last night at my dad's. He made 4 HUGE london broils, baked taters, strean beans, pepper hash, cucumbers and onions, roasted garlic onions, mushrooms (yuck) and a few other things. I was stuffed. Lexi was such an angel. She loved the pool and all the toys that pop-pop bought her for the pool. She got a little sun too but her's is all tan already. UGH! Just like Daddy! Makes me sick.

Title: Mr. Mom

Lost my job, came home mad
Got a hug and kiss and that's too bad
She said I can go to work until you find another job
I thought I like the sound of that
Watch TV and take long naps
Go from a hand working dad to being Mr. Mom

Well
Pampers melt in a Maytag dryer
Crayons go up one drawer higher
Rewind Barney for the fifteenth time
Breakfast, six naps at nine
There's bubble gum in the baby's hair
Sweet potatoes in my lazy chair
Been crazy all day long and it's only Monday
Mr. Mom

Football, soccer and ballet
Squeeze in Scouts and PTA
And there's that shopping list she left
That's seven pages long
How much smoke can one stove make
The kids won't eat my charcoal cake
It's more than any maid can take
Being Mr. Mom

Well
Pampers melt in a Maytag dryer
Crayons go up one drawer higher
Rewind Barney for the sixteenth time
Breakfast, six naps at nine
There's bubble gum in the baby's hair
Sweet potatoes in my lazy chair
Been crazy all day long and it's only Monday
Mr.Mom

Before I fall in bed tonight
If the dog didn't eat the classifieds
I'm gonna look just one more time

'Cause
Pampers melt in a Maytag dryer
Crayons go up one drawer higher
Rewind Barney for the eighteenth time
Breakfast, six naps at nine
There's bubble gum in the baby's hair
Sweet potatoes in my lazy chair
Been crazy all day long
Oh been crazy all day long and it's only Monday
Mr.Mom

Balancin' checkbooks, juggling bills
Thought there was nothing to it
Baby, now I know how you feel
What I don't know is how you do it

Delaware Soldier Killed by Friendly Fire in Afghanistan

http://www.wboc.com/Global/story.asp?S=1957550

DAGSBORO, Delaware- Lance Cpl. Russell White, 19, a Marine from near Dagsboro, was shot and killed in a friendly fire incident in Afghanistan, his father Gregg White confirmed Thursday.

Gregg said he spoke to Pentagon officials last Thursday afternoon. They told him his son was killed in a friendly fire incident. Russell was shot in the head and died late Sunday at Bagram Air Base, north of Kabul, according to his father.

Gregg said military officials told him another Marine was attempting to holster a 9 mm handgun, apparently after cleaning it, when it discharged a bullet that struck his son in the head. Russell had been in Afghanistan for only six weeks.

Russell was the youngest of three boys. Gregg said his son was born to be a soldier. Russell joined the Marines last year after graduating from Indian River High School. He noted that Russell finished third in all of his boot camp in marksmanship.

One of the main reasons Russell joined the military was to find and capture Osama Bin Laden, his father said. He said his son wanted to fight for freedom back home, and to help prevent any more terrorist attacks like the ones on Sept. 11, 2001. Gregg said his son was particularly proud of a mission earlier this month when U.S. troops captured a suspected bomb maker without firing a shot.

Russell played football for Indian River High School. His former football coach said Russell led by example on and off the field.

"Russell was a coach's dream," said Coach Jim Bunting. "We always have the cliches, always give 110 percent, always finish what you start. All these things Russell already came with."

Gregg White remembered his son as always being upbeat and happy. Gregg said his son joined the military to help find and capture Osama Bin Laden.

Sad  Sad  Sad

So sad! He went to the same high school I went too! I didn't know him personally but knew him through a mutual friend. This is the 1st Delawarean to be killed since the war started. It's sad when it is anyone but hits you a little harder when it is someone from your area. He lived about 10 minutes from where we live.

I'm back in a funk. Work is picking up AGAIN. It is back to only 3 of us. Our temp left so all of her work is piled on me. JOY!

Micky is working tonight so I am not sure what Lexi and I are going to get into. I need to clean and do some laundry. Might take her outside for awhile if it doesn't rain but it looks like it is going to.

Went to Food Lion last night and I had a bag of grapes in the cart. Lexi kept turning around and then hiding her face and hands, come to find out, she was taking grapes out the bag and eating them before they were paid for.... Man I love that little girl! It was so cute when we caught her. Those big blue eyes! *sigh* I'm in love!

Title: When You Need My Love

Two in the morning telephone rings
Somehow I knew who it was
'cause baby it's always the same old thing
When you need my love

You say it's over again and again
This time you've had enough
Girl I know you've been fighting with him
When you need my love

Oh I wish I could just say no
And get you out of my heart
It must be nice to have some place to go
When your world falls apart

He'll call tomorrow with the same ol' line
And you'll forget about us
I'll be lonely until the next time
When you need my love

Oh I wish I could just say no
And get you out of my heart
It must be nice to have some place to go
When your world falls apart

Now someday someone's gonna love me true
And baby when she does
Then I wonder what you're gonna do
When you need my love

Yeah, then I wonder what you're gonna do
When you need my love
When you need my love
When you need my love
What are you gonna do

I think way too much when I hear certain songs. When that song 1st came out, I played it over and over again just listening to how much it reminded me of my situation/life. **I have to get this out, I might feel better**

His name was B------. but I will just call him B. I met him when I was 17. I was working as a waitress/hostess at his father's restraunt. It was love at 1st sight, or so I thought. He was 24, attractive, funny, sensitive and almost had a college degree. He seemed so much older than 24. I worshiped the ground he walked on but there was 1 problem. He was seeing someone and had been for SEVERAL years. Can't remember exactly how long but it was awhile.

It started as friendly flirting almost the moment I walked in the door. I had such strong feelings for him it was almost like being tortured. We would play fight, wink at each other constantly, make stupid little inuendos, it was like I met my soul mate but it wasn't since he was seeing someone else.

to be continued later...............

We will call her K. She worked at the restraunt accross the street which was also B's fathers. I think she was the same age as B but I can't remember, not that it matters or anything. For the last year or so, they were off and on again. They argued and all but they went out everynight after work. Seeing him ride accross the street, knowing where he was going killed me almost everytime. Everyone I worked with knew how I felt except him I guess. This went on for a good 3 or 4 months.

One day I was in the walk-in getting something, can't remember what it was anymore but B walked in and it all started from there. He took the tray out of my hands and sat it down on a shelf, put his hands around my neck and kissed me and OMG it was like 4th of July. It was magical. It was like electrical currents going through my veins. It wasn't the best place for the 1st kiss but I wouldn't change it for the world. When we stopped, he looked at me, smiled and winked and walked out. I stood there stunned for a good 5 minutes wondering if that was real or it was just my imagination. I was on top of the world, nothing could bring me down; but I had to know why he did it and what happened to K.

I also worked there with my best-friend Cathy. She thought I was nuts and just didn't understand. She knew K pretty well too since she worked at the restraunt alot longer than I had. Cathy said that apparently K and B broke up for good this time. (OMG I just relized that those are my initials, well, my maiden intials.) I was happy for that, I didn't like K but for the obvious reasons. They weren't the right reasons but, Hey, I was 17. What do you expect?

Everytime I looked at him my heart would race wondering when it was going to happen again. Neither one of us mentioned it for about 2 weeks but little kisses and touches were passed oh so often. I found myself taking more shifts just so I could be there. He would come in on his days off which weren't often since we were short staffed and I made sure to work as many shifts as he did. I HAD to be around him. He was like a drug and I was addicted big time.

We started hanging out more often outside of work. Sometimes we would go get pizza or go to Ocean City to the boardwalk. I would have been happy sitting in a pig pen with him. It didn't matter where we were or what we were doing, as long as I was with him, nothing else mattered.

One night we went down the "The Cove" after work one night and we were the only ones down there. We just sat in his Probe and talked for about 2 hours. He was so intellectual but he seemed to analyze everything. At that time, I didn't care. We started making out, which was TOTAL HEAVEN and then we went skinney dipping. By the time we left The Cove it was about 2am, WAY past my curfew. Remember, I was only 17 and my mother would flip if she knew where I was and the fact that I was with a guy much older than me. You know how parents get. I figured since I was already in trouble, I might as well make the best out of it. I decided to go back and spend the night at his house. He lived at home but his father was the coolest. He didn't care, plus, he was in bed by the time we got back. We went upstairs to his part of the house and got a shower together since we were swimming in the bay. It all started in the shower. We couldn't get enough of each other, hands were everywhere, lips were everywhere. It was perfect! Then the shower got cold. We we got out and dried off. Me with a towel and him with a hair dryer. (I never did understand that) We went back to his room and got into bed. I don't need to go into details there, you know what happened next. I was on Cloud 9. I WAS IN LOVE!

I don't think that I am going to finish my little bio about that part of my life. What I thought was going to help is only making it worse and I have enough problems right now to deal with. I don't need the added stress.
