Cataract (left eye) surgery was done in Feb.
The drainage (left eye) surgery was done today. Some complications. Not going into until we know for sure.
Cataract (right eye) surgery will probably be in May.
In what i believe is MAJOR karma or something: When i first started this journal i was adamint(sp?) about going to the CNA/HHA class. It was started in June 2008. Now, i'm signing up for the class that starts June 2010.
Jim in hosp. Don't even get me started right now. They don't know what the hell is going on. He's in pain. We had to call the ambulance for him this morning (thurs morn). He did mention something about a rope and a window. He's getting really tired of all this sh!t. His bed is alarmed. He can't even stand on the left leg.
just show me the closest bridge.
His white cell count is flying higher every day. It could possibly be the MRSA back again. We won't know that for another few days. BUT, if it is the MRSA and the pain is worse in his groin, are they automactially going to take off up to the hip?
I HATE whatever the hell this is.
No progress. We still don't know what this is. Hopefully we'll know more tonight or tomorrow based on the l o n g test they did today.
Long test yesterday. 11am-5:30pm. They didn't even feed him lunch. I got my hair cut and colored and was still back in the room wayyy before him.
So anyways, the results? Inconclusive. Two spots: Left chest area. Left groin area. What the hell are those spots? Damn good question.
The pain in his groin? Inflamation of muscles. Fluid around hip joint.
Pain in back? He has back problems again. He's already had back surgery (before i knew him). No surgeon is going to touch him until they get whatever infection this under control.
His kidney #'s are SUPER high. Not doing good again.
Dr's are a$$holes. Wait...not all are. One is. He went into Jim's room late lastnight (after 10pm) and told him he was probably gonna need another surgery to heal the hip. BUT, even if they did the surgery he might not make it through. Thanks a bunch there dude!
ankle. mine. Hopefully not broken. First day back to work after 3 wks. lovely. At least Jim still has decent pain med's.
I'm offically signed up for the CNA/HHA class starting in June.
Things are going better wuth Jim. His potassium #'s are high now.
level 1 sprain. 1 wk light duty. with 10 days of staying off it as much as possible and avoiding stairs.
