Hello. My name is Di.

I decided, as I was updating my son's toddler journal, that I need my own little place to do my own little thing. So here I am

I'm 24 at the moment. I'll be halfway to 50 in February. Craziness. But I digress. DF and I have been together since Novvmber of 2004. We became engaged in January of this year. Only took 3 years and a baby, but it happened lol. We are to be married next September.

Now this baby I speak of...not so much a baby anymore. He is our son, Aidan. He is currently 15 months old going on 5. He loves to run, dance and just be overall goofy. He is such a good kid...always happy, of course with the exception of a few miserable moments here and there.

Back to fat cat. He's our first "child." We call him "Kitty Kujo" these days, as he tends to kill anything that moves in the back yard. Alone today he got a chipmunk and 2 moles. They never saw it coming.

Well I guess that's all. I'm sure I'll have more to write about tomorrow after I get done work. We are doing layoffs at my job and being the shop steward for my department, I'm sure I will get called somewhere tomorrow to deliver the bad news. I had my first layoff on Friday and it was a friend of mine

So this week has kinda sucked, job wise. they laid off three of my favorite managers

It could be worse, I guess. It could have been me! Thankfully, though, it was not.

Besides the "fun" goin on at work, nothing really interesting is going on. It's pretty much a same ****, different day kinda week...just struggling to make it to the weekend at this point.

My grandma is having a yard sale on Saturday so I'm taking a load of crap over there in hopes that some one will buy it. We'll see.

My eye has been twitching for a week now. It's getting very annoying and I wish it would stop.

I guess that's it. Just some randomness for the day.

Phillies are going to the World Series!!!!!!

At least one of our teams is doing good lol.

We had our yard sale today (well my grandma did, I sold a few things there too, though.) We did good! Tomorrow we're gonna take the kiddo out on a winter shopping spree with the money we made today

Well, i'm home sick today. Actually all of us are. Aidan has a cold, I have the chills and DF...well I think he's faking it, but he supposedly has a cold too lol. Just hanging in and getting a few things done around the house. Aidan is taking his nap at the moment and I'm just waiting for the laundry to finish drying so I can switch loads. Df is playing guitar hero, as usual. Yesterday we had our league (bowling) and I honestly couldn't tell you if we won or lost, I was so out of it. Afterwards we did some shopping and got Aidan some winter gear and diapers and picked up a few things to eat for the week. Next Sunday morning we're dropping DS off at the in laws and going christmas shopping for a few hours. Hopefully we can get it all done (it's only stuff for Aidan) and wraped and stash it in the basement until the day comes. We'll see...

Well this week just sucked (work wise) They let a few more people go at work, including another one of my favorite managers It's getting scary. I just wise they would be done and over with all the layoffs. I hate living in fear

On a happier note, the Phillies are in the World Series!!! Definitly not new news, but being a Phillies fan, it's great news!!! We're going into Philly Sunday night to watch the game at a dive or something. Should be great fun

I was gonna write something else, but I can't remember now lol. Seems to be my thing anymore! When I think of it, I'll write again. Until my memory comes back, that's it.

So DF is waiting at Besy Biy at the moment so he can buy Guitar Hero World Tour tonight at 12 when it goes on sale. He;s a nut. I'm staying awake, though, cause I'm a GH junkie and if I fall asleep and he goes to wake me up, fist will fly. I can;t complain though, I'm25 posts away from getting my crowns so it's helping me achieve that at the moment.

DS is sleeping. It was cute tonight. DF laid him down to sleep while I was in the shower and when I got out, the were both in his room; DS holding DF's hand andfighting sleep. So I walked in and kneeled down and rubbed DS head and said "Go to sleep my little man" and he shut his eyes and fell asleep! DF had this look on his face like "How the hell did you do that?!?!" I was shocked too...That's never worked! If only it was that easy everytime!

STRESS!!!! That's my life at the moment. Between layoffs at work (which I have to sit in on everyone for the office and clerical workers), the constant tension between everyone, all the closed door meeting and what not, and this isn't even going into my personal life at home....I wish this would all just end soon! I can't take sitting in my cubi wondering who's gonna be next to go and weather or not I'll be able to fight it (shop steward here.) Ugh. I need a vacation. Oh and my hairs starting to fall out! WTF! I'm 24!

Just needed to vent, don't mind me....

I swear to go if I hear either DF or my mother complain about the god damn phones one more time, I'm gonna lose my ****ing mind!
