loveablebubbles81- Sorry, just trying to catch up on all I've missed. Glad to hear your father is back home. Is he doing better now & did they ever find a cause?

I'm keeping my fingers & everything else crossed for you...sending major sticky vibes your way!!! I know how badly you want a baby & keep the faith girl, it WILL happen for you. Tell DH to save it next time & you will just use the turkey baster Lol He will have to miss out on all the fun for being a bad boy.

Oh, and this is from me to him = :trout2: :whippin: :slap:

About your constant fatigue...PLEASE push this issue with your GP!! You need to be tested for fibromyalgia because so many of your symptoms match it & some other conditions. Have him refer you to someone who can properly diagnose it & do the trigger point testing. I know you have so many other things going on but, take care of you too!!

You made me laugh, than Diane had me off my chair.
Yes I have Fibromyalgia syndrome. My Rhmetoidoligist has offically diagnose it. My Physiotherapist seconds it & my GP isn't about to disagree either!! And just for the fun of it my peditrist is getting in on the act of agreeing with it as well! My Gp I think is going on holidays just to have a break from me!! I will see him in the new year now as he has taken this month off, even if the girls at the reception desk have to barracade is office doors closed!! HE is a Fantastic GP who gets having arthritis & fatigue. Although I am not complaining about my midday naps and neither is the cat!!

As for DH, I doubt he could land it in a cup for me to use it in a turkey baster if we did have one. He did get a stern talking to about the issue. I have told him that I am not making this baby on my own here!!

:spit2: You dorks! You made me blow hot tea out of my nose when I read these! :spit:

Let's just say that if I were his wife or girlfriend, I'd definitely not be looking forward to taking off a police uniform on New Years' Eve. . . he was too nerdy and his voice reminded me of Dana Carvey playing The Church Lady.

Operation: No Candy or Smut Aisles

OK, I need some help. I work at a retail box store. It seems that every day I get assualted by having to read the latest PH & BS, Brangelina, Rachael Ray, Ellen, Jennifer Ani----, who's coming out-who's still in (a closet) and who is cheating on whom and what insiders are saying. The sickest thing is, I have little kids learning how to read reading this carp as the parents take them through my line!

I need everyone to write to the retailers they shop with and tell them that no-candy aisles are not enough-- we need no smut aisles as well. Write, tell them that this bothers you and why it does. The tabloids at some point need to back off on the skank.

Oh-- I predict that if the nation shows that it's tired of the nonsense that is going on in the tabloids, that Brangelina will become non-denominational Christian romance leaders, that Brad will become the writer of some cheesy how-to "Romance in the Pitt-Way" and that Angelina will become the radiant wife writing about how submissiveness has changed her outlook on marriage and how they don't have a Hollywood marriage. Those two are smart and they love publicity and will be born again to keep their star shining bright for a bit longer.

Tea it is a World wide issue!! Although here they try and keep the weekly tabloid type magazines on a higher shelf! But still in nearly every aisle in nearly every supermarket and retail outlet that sells a magazines always have them in your face so that you will get hooked by a head line, pick it up and read while waiting, then consider buying the rubish even though most wont pick up the magazine again becuase the women then go back to their over busy life!!

Jamie--

You are almost through the first year after what happened to Kieran. It's often not the day that breaks people, but the days around it. This has been a year of firsts without her of what you'd hoped would be her firsts. My mom is having the same thing happen without my dad. It's the hardest for survivors no matter how old the person was when they died. I've read that the pain never goes away but it gets tolerable.

Recently my 2 yo son turned three. I had major flashbacks and had to go see my lawyer. (He let me sit in his office gratis and worked while I talked.) I was like, "He was born three years ago today. This was happening-- that was happening-- ____ and ___ were still at [my ex's.] How did I get through it?" He poured me a cup of tea and explained that I had a very patient lawyer who didn't charge me for counseling. . . Wink At least I knew that my dds were alive and physically safe, but I was fighting weird allegations. It was horrible and a stresser of 10 on a scale of one to ten. Last year I cried with the memories even though my dds were home and had been home for just over a year.

The holidays are extremely difficult even for people with no reason to be sad. They come through my line all the time.

You will get through this, there is nothing you can do to make yourself happy but you have to keep going.

This has shaped you, but don't let it define you or cripple you. Life experiences will displace the sadness, but not replace your love for your sweet little girl. Even if you do nothing but cry, go do things. See the Nutcracker. Buy a present for the Angel Tree-- if not for children, for senior citizens or someone else. Go carolling. Go to your husband's office party in a Santa hat that says 'Jingle This," antlers with bells or even a top with an elegantly silk screened, "Ba-hambug!" Give yourself permission to cry if the tears come flooding back-- if people ask either tell them why you are crying and what hurts, or say you don't want to talk about it, but appreciate their concern-- you could wind up allowing others to let it out and talking to you may be therapeutic. I lady came though my line the other day who'd miscarried six months ago and I cried with her for my own who didn't make it.

If I knew you I would buy this book for you. It's one of the finest by one of the greatest writers ever. http://www.amazon.com/Grief-Observed-C-S-Lewis/dp/0060652381/sr=8-12/qid=1165802198/ref=pd_bbs_12/104-7615517-8441560?ie=UTF8&s=books It's called A Grief Observed by CS Lewis.

Peggy - know that you're not alone when it comes to your DH not understanding what/how much you do. Men and clueless and selfish, God help them. I work full time then come home and work full time and I still don't get me time. I think men just think stuff magically takes care of itself.

I'd suggest leaving him alone with the baby for a day and see how much free time he has (my DH has admitted that a day off with the baby isn't really a day off). You could maybe even join a club or take a class that will get you out of the house alone on a regular basis, it's always a good excuse.

Hang in there and let us know if you find the magic potion that will make our DH's appreciate all that we do.

Thank You Sweety.

This just sucks.

My Mom called this afternoon. I knew when she asked me if i had to work tonight or had already worked this morning that something was wrong.

I think (and hope) this is the last try she was going to do. Her and BIL have already talked about adopting at least 2 children.
