I'm fairly new to your journal, but I wanted to say congrats and what a beautiful little girl you have. I agree the first weeks were tough, and my DS choked on my BM all the time, I had a hard let down. but it got better and I nursed him for 15 months ( he weaned himself) enjoy every second, it goes by fast but each new stage is so much fun.
Hi Jen! I'm glad things are going better for you and Addison! With Ethan I feel like as soon as I figure out his likes and dislikes and we get in some sort of routine, everything changes and I have to learn all over again. That's what keeps it interesting I guess! I know what you mean about how difficult it will be to return to work. I go back Jan. 4 and am dreading it. The thought of leaving Ethan makes me want to cry and the closer it gets the more anxious I get. DH will be home with him in the morning so he will only be at the baby sitter's house for a few hours a day but I am going to miss him so much.

Holy crap...my very own journal...I have returned. I definitely can not give this first post back in quite awhile the attention it deserves but I wanted to get a few pics up.
My little princess is 3 and 1/2 months already!!! I simply can not believe it!
She holds her head up WONDERFULLY, loves to play with her stuffed toys now, chews on everything, loves sucking on her fingers, drools pretty much constantly LOL and giggles and kicks around like crazy!
She is sooo much fun! 1 tiny smile from her will just melt my heart and keeps me coming back for more and more and more.
She's definitely my little girl, since she's started daycare she DOES not like taking a bottle so I worry about her eating enough but she gets through the daycare days (as do I ) and seems to have fun and play a lot over there. It's hard as hell 3 days a week leaving her, I hate it. I know in a few years I'll look back and laugh but I could just cry everytime she's not with me.
Dion's been bringing her to have lunch with me every Monday ( he has Monday's off so he takes care of her then) so that breaks up the week just great!
Gosh...honestly my mind is just racing with all the info I want to share and I'm nearly out of time.
We celebrated her first halloween, christmas and New Years already....of course the excitement of all the holidays was sort of lost on her...next year will be the perfect age to capture her interest. Of course I had to get cute outfits for all the holidays and she was just adorable!
She is now sleeping in her crib most of the time at night, I think around 12 weeks is when I was able to tear myself away from her at night. She sleeps anywhere from 6-8 hours a night, takes a feeding and then will fall asleep again for 2-4 more and it's working great for us. I usually put her in her pack and play after her night feeding since its still in our room but she's in the crib other than that.
She's still breastfeeding super wonderfully. It took at least a full month to really get the hang of that but now she's a pro and is definitely a boob baby. I LOOOVE breastfeeding just looking down at her cutest little face I feel totally content each and every time with my world.
I love her more than words can ever express!
That's all I have time for today...I'll try to do a better job of keeping up now that I'm back at work!
First day back to work and daycare....
Loves to travel, she always falls asleep in her carseat
reading with daddy
eyeballing the ceiling fan
My lil eskimo
cuddling with mommy
having a staredown with Leo-the-Lion
playing on her new playmat
My little cabbage patch
From a lurker: she is absolutely beautiful and you "Mamma" are positively glowing! Congrats and enjoy. It goes by way too fast. My grandbabies are 20 months and 8 months old now and my babies are 26, 24 and 21. Yikes. I feel like it was yesterday I was in your shoes and marveling at my little baby and motherhood.
Great to see you started your journal again! (noticed your return was on Natalie's 1st birthday )
You look gorgeous and Addie is beautiful! Glad to hear things are going well, can't wait to read more.
