Oh wow, 3.5 mths already! She is so adorable, and you look so happy and glowing!! I'm glad that BFing is working out great for you, she is such a big girl! I just started work recently, so I know how you feel having to tear myself away every morning to go to work.
Yay for an update!
So glad to come on here and see an update!! She is adorable and you're absolutely radiant in the pics!! I had all those feelings about work too, but it gets easier. Motherhood is such a wonderful experience and I feel so blessed to get to be one. Got to run J just woke up from her nap.
I keep forgetting that Addie and Nate are the same age! She is so chubby, wonderfully adorable! And you look so happy Jen!

She looks really fantastic, sounds like you're doing great! I just read your post about her choking at 2 weeks, you must have been terrified. So sorry you had to go through that. I know having a baby has made me feel so vulnerable--I have so much to lose. I'm glad things have gotten easier for you, IMO they continue to get easier and more fun as you progress through the first year.
OMG, some how I thought that once Addison was here the updates stopped... silly me, of course not!! I just love that cute little pumpkin Your labor story is awesome. I feel like I was there with you guys and it had me crying my eyes out. I wish I would have written mine right away afterwards because I feel like there was so much going on that I couldn't possibly remember it all now. And I didn't realize Oct 15th was the Infant Loss Awareness Day, that is so special. Kylie is definitely looking down on her little family. I'll start checking back here more often to keep up with what's going on! XO
Just checking in on you, keep stalking your journal to find out how things are going, haven't seen an update in a while. Hope you and your family are doing well.

I have so much to catch up on!
As a quick overview I went back to work but after only 8 weeks back at full time decided I needed to be with my baby and my husband has worked it out so that I am only having to work part time! M-W and F so I get to spend T and TH and all weekends just playing and loving my little Addie!
Addie rolled over, sits up, eats her feet, yells at us and is just the happiest easiest baby ever! (of course I suppose every parent thinks their own child is easy to read).
We started her on rice cereal at 4 months according to our pedi recommendations and after about a week she caught right on to this whole "eating" thing. She is still eating just 1 "meal" a day at dinner time. She's tried Carrots, sweet Potatoes, banana's, pears and peas. She's loved them all......EXCEPT the peas. I'm planning on starting to make my own baby food now so I'll keep you posted on how that goes!
She is currently experiencing her first sickness. Her cough is horrible sounding and we have a doc appt for tomorrow morning! I'm sure it's just a cold but since the cough has been lingering for about 4 days we decided, let's be safe and let a doc take a look at her.
So she rolled over, right around 4.5 months. She did a few times a couple days in a row but is still not a big fan of tummy time.
She's graduated to the big girl bathtub and just uses a little sitter thing in there. I can't wait till she wants to play.
I have a couple of friends who are recently pregnant and it TOTALLLY makes me miss it. Our plan (so far) is to try again when Addie is at least one...maybe a year and a half. I want to enjoy her "babyness" and learn all I can from her!
I plan on doing the March for Babies walk on April 24th to support premature babies, research and info!
Still trying to get back into shape. at 38 weeks prego I weighed *GULP* 208 lbs....about a month after Addie was born I had lost all of my swelling and water weight and was at 169. Today....I'm at 154....heading in the right direction but SERIOUSLY way slower than I thought. It IS really hard to find time to work out the way I used to and I don't eat very well. I've got a fairly good routine going now and am hoping to be back to prepregnancy weight very soon ( which FYI was 140) I would like to lose another 10 lbs from there though...but let's just get one step at a time!
Addie is amazing and I love spending time with her. We have JUST started doing some fun outings on our days off and I think these last few months and the ones that are coming are just going to be such an exciting time! I love my little girl more than anything in this world, it's seriously amazing! I bought her the cutest little swimsuit so swimming will def be in our future along with her first trip to the zoo.
We are actively searching for new daycare as we we're very unhappy with out last place. The lady was just sort of lazy and didn't stick to our schedule at all! For the summer on Wed and Fri's DH's mom will be taking care of her so at least we aren't in a rush to find someone and can really take our time to find someone we are going to love!
Here are a few sort of recent pics from FB of my little Addiebug. I'm thinking about moving my journal to a blogging website to make it easier for me to update but if I do, I'll of course post the link here for anyone that wants to read it. HOPEFULLY it will be easier for me to keep up with (and add in some other non baby related stuff as well)
I am sooooo happy with my life. Dion is a wonderful father (a little over cautious at times, but I'm used to that) but seriously amazing and totally in love with Addison as well! My work is going good right now. Loving our new house and the area we ended up in is so wholesome!
I guess that's about it for now but just know that things are going wonderfully, Addison is learning new things every day and growing up to be my little princess!
These are crappy phone pics because it's what I have handy at the moment!
She's such a cutie! Hope you can get a blog up and keep it going, can't wait to hear more about Addie and how she is growing.
