Thanks Mia... thats what I am hoping for too

A friend of mine was put in the hospital around 23 weeks with pre E. Hers got so bad that she had seziurs. They ended up delivering her son via section at 25ish weeks. It was a long, difficult road, he died a couple of times (they were able to revive him), but today he is a happy, healthy, 3 year old

Hello, hello! I am going to introduce myself since we are cautiously thinking about TTC #2 this summer. I had a scary first pregnancy. I had a subchorionic hematoma that didn't correct itself fully until about 20 weeks. I would randomly start bleeding and it was super scary! I also had major pelvic and hip issues. I ended up with a c-section right at 37 weeks but of a slow leak in my fluid. The one cool thing about being high risk was that I got to see Alison on the screen every two weeks at the periontologist. But I really am scared my next pregnancy will be just as scary!

Hi there. I just stumbled on this board. While I am not TTC (Tubes Tied), I had my share of high risks during pregnancy. Pre-e, PIH, PROM, IUGR, Gestational Diabetes, History of M/C, low progesterone, RH incompatible, and just about anything that could go wrong, went wrong. I was mostly just stopping by to invite any of you that have had preemies, or anticipate having a preemie to stop by the Parents Of Preemies board. Good luck to all of you with the remainder of your pregnancies!

    Hi
    My name is Nicky.

I have one son who was born 6 weeks early and I am expecting my 2nd son who is due in November of this year. I am currently on progestrone shots (sp?) to help keep this little one cooking as long as possible. No one can really tell me why my son came early so this time around I am being watched very closely by my OB and Maternal Fetal medicine.

I'm Sophia, I'm currently pg with my 2nd, thanks to IVF. I'm high risk, mainly due to the fact that I am a kidney transplant recipient. I was also high risk during my 1st pg for the same reason. Biggest concerns for me was that my kidney function could be affected and possible pre-e due to BP issues related to kidney transplant. For my baby, could mean being born premature and low birth weight.

My DD was induced at 39 wks (had not even dropped at that point) and birth weight was 9 lbs 11 oz. Yeah, she kind blew THAT statistic out of the water. Although the potential for all kinds of complications was always there, I had an uneventful pg. I hope that my 2nd will be just as uneventful, or better still, have a nice, natural birth.

Anyways, my GP referred me immediately to the High Risk Pregnancy Clinic so I am looking forward to seeing my OB again. I hope it will be soon.

I'm kind of lurking.... I PPROMed at 33 weeks so I'm interested in how Nicky's pregnancy goes this time. Even though I know it is totally independent of mine, seeing her go full term with an uneventful pregnancy will make me feel better about #3. I have a bunch of irrational fears that I could go earlier next time.

This board will be me when we TTC #3. My uterus ruptured during my VBAC attempt with DD2. But we didn't even know about the rupture until they opened me for a C-Sec after DD2 failed to progress after 2 hours of pushing. DD2 and I are both safe, but it could have been much worse.

    Welcome, ladies!

Nicky, I hope you keep that baby baking as long as possible! How are you doing so far?

Hi Sophia! I've been semi stalking you and I'm so glad you got your BFP! I hope this pregnancy goes smoothly for you.

Welcome, Dani. Are you currently pregnant? Or thinking about ttc?

Laura, hi! You have a new baby! When are you thinking about ttc again? We are thinking of TTC in June 2013.

Jenni - we want a third and unless we have a surprise, plan on TTC next year.

Good luck to all the ladies here for uneventful pregnancies
