I made peaches last night and they were a big hit with the twins today.
If I make some food for the kids, how long will they last in the fridge?
Also about how much food does a baby get at each serving?

We are getting ready to feed Evie sweet potatoes, it will be her first real food after rice cereal.
I just started putting her on 2 meals a day. How long before I should progress to 3 meals a day? Also, she wakes up usually between 8 - 10 am, should I feed her breakfast rite away or nurse her 1st before feeding her? If I nurse her I find that we skip brekkie all together and go right to lunch. So I'm kinda lost as to how to intro breakfast to her at this time.
Sophia I'm only giving solids once a day but when we go to 2 times I will give formula first thing in the morning then when she would have her next bottle I will give her solids and then formula if she is still hungry. Thats what a friend of mine does with her baby.
We got some veggies yesterday so I'm making green beans and peas today. I got peaches and squash i will make those tomorrow or the day after, peaches still feel very hard.
I will try the avocado again but I will mix it with apple sauce, hope she will eat it then, avocados are very healthy for babies.
I bought farley biscuits yesterday at superstore for J. So far that's the only solid food she has had. I'm waiting until after our holidays mid month to start feeding her cereal etc. One less thing for me to take camping.
Made green beans and peas today, put them in the freezer.
I fed her green beens and she hated them, she was making faces, spitting up and gaggin, so I only gave her a little and the rest went down the drain. Shame because they came out very tasty. At least she didnt puke them up like she did the avocado. I can just tell she wont like veggies.
I was thinking to mix in some applesauce into green beans to make it taste better, not sure if thats a good mix, and dont know if its smart to make everything taste like apples just so she will eat it. I will try it for 2 more days if she wont like it we try the peas but my guess is she will hate them too, maybe I should give her squash after the beans.
Erika..Have you tried sweet potatoes/yams yet? I made green beans yesterday and they came out really chunky. Could it be the texture that she is refusing? I made sweet potatoes and summer squash yesterday and ran it through the food processor and then a strainer and squished it through. After straining those they came out more like "baby food" than the green beans did. I would keep trying those veggies

I fed her green beans again today and it went a bit better, she still hated them but wasnt gagging so I just kept giving her and then she started to open her mouth but she was tired and started getting fussy, grabbed my gym water bottle and started to suck on it so I knew she wants her milk. Since she got up at 5am she only had a short nap and I was going to get her down for the next nap just after she ate, so the cranky tired baby doesnt go too well with green beans. I always feed her solids about 1 hour after she is up from her morning nap which is pretty long so she is always rested and ready to have her solids.
We will try tomorrow again and I will feed her after her nap not before.
I baked some peaches today, I will freeze them and I think will try them after we did the beans for 4 days. I will wait with the peas for a while, dont want to torture her with the green stuff.
