How many teeth?

How many teeth do your little ones have? Oskar is working on 7 and 8 right now and it seems like a lot. The poor baby never really feels good anymore because he is constantly getting new teeth. How about your little cuties?

We only have 4 cut through (2 top, 2 bottom) but she has been working on the top eye teeth for what seems like forever. They are bulging and I thought I could feel them starting to poke through, but then the second time I checked I wasn't sure. She hates me messing with her mouth so I have a hard time seeing what's going on in there. We have had a couple of rough nights of sleep that I definitely attributed to teething (rough nights of sleep are not unusual for us, but usually it's from congestion....these times she wasn't congested but seemed to be in pain and kept rubbing her cheeks so it had to have been teething)

We are the same as Oskar. He cut number 7 and 8 can't be too far behind. He's got a lopsided mouth again. Poor kid. Wink

Still only the bottom two! I saw four white tips(bottom and top) just under the skin so any day now!

Naava has none! Crazy thing that she's been teething for a while. DH took her to the doctor a few weeks with an EI and he broke the gums to ease the teeth through. Well, the gums closed back up! Guess the teeth weren't ready (I was quite surprised he did it because I didn't think it was ready). Anyway, now she's definitely close on those 2 bottom ones. And on top her middle ones are definitely starting to bulge, but I think the next two will come before those. My older daughter had fangs for about a week or two and I think we're having a repeat.

Esti, how the heck do they break the gums? I have never heard of that. I didn't get my first tooth until I was 11 months old (or so my mom says) but both of my girls were early teethers. Layla is just taking her sweet time getting any beyond those first 4.

Anderson has 4 all the way through and I just noticed the fifth one has cut the gums. He has been snotty nosed and fussy, so hopefully we will get a break from all of that!

Carrie - he just uses a popsicle stick to pop through the gums if the tooth is really bulging. With my older daughter, I took her to have pictures done (back before I did what I do LOL) and you could actually see the teeth through the gums. She was utterly miserable. Later that day we had a well visit. He simply popped the skin and she was a different child within 5 minutes. Really relieved the pain for her. To this day she has stubborn gums/teeth. She's lost four teeth so far and not one has fallen out on its own. She had to have them all pulled because the adult tooth came in fully behind it. And now the next two teeth are growing in and the others haven't fallen out. So weird. And Shai's having issues now, too. He had 4 baby teeth pulled today because the new ones were growing underneath them and his whole mouth was hurting. I was sure he was full of cavities and the dentist showed me the xray and you could clearly see the new teeth.

And with that whole chapter of a book, her first tooth broke through today. And the second looks like it'll be tomorrow. At least I hope so because OMFG the clinginess!!!!

8. oh my. My family teethes late, but my boys have taken after DH. This LO was my earliest and got his first at 5.5 months. With these last two he's become a little piranha and often chomps when he latches.
He's not a fun teether, either. He'll wake 4-5 times a night when they're really coming in. I hope we get a break before the next 8!

Corbin has 4. He has had all 4 since thanksgiving. So far there is no sign that any more are coming it. I think it's really interesting how different all of our LOs are! Very cool! Smile

Esti - my brother and I both had problems with our baby teeth not falling out. I had to have 8 teeth pulled at one time bc they just wouldnt ever leave! Sorry your kids are having to deal with this! No fun!!

We have 6 now...just found two more broken through on top this weekend (they've been bulging for like 2 months!) I tried to look at them but the child will NOT let me look in her mouth, she is so stubborn. I can feel them, though.

Laney just had her 6th one come through -so 4 on top and 2 on the bottom. I'm sorry for all those miserable kiddo's out there!

Esti - there was a baby on my '07 board who didn't get her first tooth until she was 16 months! lol It was a running joke for awhile but the girl could gum things up like a champ Smile
