Was told at last appt that if I noticed a decrease in my insulin requirements, that I should call or come in to l&d. So, after 3days without needing any insulin I called last night and they told me to come right in to be monitored. Dr's have said that the decrease is a sign of possible placental failure so they kept me in and have started the induction. It's already been 12 hours with the cervadil and i'm only 1! I've take 2-3days to be induced when I was overdue so i'm not expecting this to go quickly being just over 37! Baby is doing fine though so it's all good. Either way i'm not leaving until baby is here. Guess we better get on the name issue for this kid! We have a boys name but still nothing absolute if it,s a girl.
This is deeaa's husband.
She has just had an epidural and has been put on oxytocin...things should be moving along pretty quickly now.
In three more hours, it will have been 24 hours sitting in this crappy hospital room with little to no action! They will check me at 2am to see if cervadil has had any effect and insert another one for 12 more hours if not. Have been having contrax but I don't think they've been strong enough to do anything! My iron cervix is so annoying in cases like this. Going to try and nap for a while now. Hope everyone else in l&d are progressing
