TTC or thinking about more?

I was just wondering who is thinking of having more little ones? Or already TTC?

We are hoping to have a spring/summer baby this time and would love to have a 2012 baby. I am almost officially at advanced maternal age so that scares me a little. But my mom had her youngest at 36 and my MIL also had her youngest around that age.

I think a summer baby would be easier since I won't have to worry about driving anyone to school until fall. Theo is going to all day K-5 in the fall of this year! I am going to miss him!

So do I have any company??:cool::yahoo:

We've been TTC for quite a long time (well really since our last one arrived) Still no luck. I had a dream the other day I was pregnant, but I don't have any HPT's so I can't test. I think I will wait until I have more concrete symptoms than just a dream.

Good luck to you! I hope you get the timing you want Smile

If you get pg today, you can keep me company on the Jan 2012 board!!! I just got my BFP on Monday...yahoo! I haven't been on this board in a while, but my little leapfrog was born Feb 2008 and I used to hang around here every now and then. The last few months I've been obsessing on the TTC board, and now I'm parked in Jan 2012....but I lurk as much as I can.

Good luck and hopefully you've got yourself a little bean soon!!

I remember you! You're from Toronto right? and you changed your user name. I'd love to join you but TBH I haven't even got AF back since my last one, so the odds are pretty slim right now Sad

we are done Sad dh had a vasectomy when sam was about three months old. I think I would have really liked to have a third but some days when I take the two out I want to shoot myself so three would probably put me over the edge. sam is definately a handful, soophie has always been so easy and calm and slept etc. that its an adjustment. good luck!!

You've moved closer to me! I'm in KW. I couldn't wait any longer and I went to Zehrs and bough a HPT. BFN Sad Maybe soon it will happen for us, in the meantime I will keep losing weight so that I can have a healthier pregnancy next time.

HH9M to you!

I've been thinking about one more lately. There's are a few things I would need to do before we have another. Get a bigger house is one. I'm at the point where if it happens it happens. I won't be disappointed if it doesn't, I have my boy and my girl, sometimes I wonder why I would want to upset their dynamic, they are best buddies.

Slackermom, your super close to me.. I'm in sarnia!

Kristin, it's good to see you here! Good luck TTC. It sounds like you lost some weight, congrats on that! Hopefully that is why you are still TTC? Or if you are still breastfeeding? Did you have issues with TTC your boys? I didn't but I keep hearing about how age really effects fertility so I am getting worried! Oh, and with Zach I felt pregnant long before I could get a BFP. It was really odd. Now I am keeping track of everything so I will know more what is going on.

Brooke, I know what you mean about them being best buds. Mine are really close lately. I am the oldest of three and I feel like it did upset the dynamic when my little sis was born. As adults it is better though. That is why we want another "set" rather than just one more Smile

Nicole, congratulations!!! HH9Ms!! One thing I loved about having winter/late fall babies was the fresh produce in the summer. I just craved fresh fruit. And you can shop Christmas clearance sales for their bday gifts Smile

I am pretty sure we are done there is still a tiny part of us that somedays would like another but we feel very happy with Noah and Bella. They are really close and we are planning to do some tavelling so a new baby just isn't in the near future for us until we do the travelling and get a house.

Thanks Stephanie - I have lost nearly 30lbs, but I still have 40 more to lose! I am still breastfeeding and I haven't even got AF back, so there isn't much I can do tracking wise. Both boys were conceived the first month of trying. I hope you find it easy this time like the other times.

We are on the road to start TTC in August for a late spring/summer 2012 baby. The only thing that worries me is daycare. But we put it off and now he will be 4 if we get pg so we'll see...

After Alex arrives, prolly 8 mths. after, Cory is going in for his vasectomy. I'm pregnant and still get baby fever-- crazy, right? But anytime I think of a baby after this one, I think of how much more we are going to have to spend on a larger house. We're currently still in our starter home, which has 4 bedrooms, but is basic-- dine-in kitchen, no office or extra storage, etc. Jacob (my step-son) has gone to live back with his mom, well, between here and there so we are back down to two kiddos right now until Alex arrives. But, there are NO plans for anymore babies for us after this little one arrives. I'm at peace with that finally I think. Smile

Kristin, how often are you still bfing? I can't believe you haven't gotten AF back yet!
Slackermom, I remember you too.
Brooke, I thought you only wanted two. Wink
Hey Laurene!

We aren't planning on TTC until next late summer at the earliest. Like Stephanie, we'd like a gap before our next "set" and really it's not a good time in our life to have another one right now. Noel is still considered my baby and that works for me!

Haha believe me I thought I only wanted 2 as well. Lately I've been questioning it alittle but in all honesty I think it has a bit to do with my age. I'm 25 and was the first of my group if friends to have kids and get married. So now the rest are starting as well and I hate the thought of being "finished" with that part of my life. But most days I am perfectly content with my family of four. We'll see. I wouldn't want to wait much longer because I don't want a huge age gap. Pax and Hayden are 22 months apart and I love it, but I was pregnant when Pax was 13 months old, Hayden is already almost 18 months... Plus I really would like a non-winter baby if it were to happen. Lol I guess I'm at the " if it's meant to be, it will happen" stage.

Brooke you've got tons of time to have more kids! You could just have two more close together so you don't have to worry about the larger age gap after Hayden. Biggrin

Oh I totally wouldn't have two more. Three would be my limit. I know I still have lots of time. I just like that when my kids are grown I'll be pretty young still. Who knows... Dh is pretty content with the two. He told me that if I made up my mind that I was done... He would have the big "V" at anytime.
I can also get a pretty good dose of baby time with my friends new ones.. So maybe once I start hearing about their sleepless nights, constant feedings, crying all the time.. My baby fever might just fly out the window lol
