Thread: Birthday Month Check In

Ok this is gonna take forever doing this from my phone!!

Name/age: Lesli/31
Child's name: Savanna
Birthday: Savanna is SO EXCITED for her birthday when I ask her when it is she says January and she'll say the day if I ask her and that she will be 3 we are doing a toy story party this Saturday! I can't wait!!

What does she like to play with? ANYTHING! She got a bike for Christmas and the weather has been pretty great especially for Utah do she actually gets to ride it and I am amazed at how well she does!! She loves playing with rice (thanks to Heather for the idea) play dough, painting, babies and puzzles are her new favorite thing

Potty training: she is day trained and she is also still in a crib so night training will come later

Terrible twos: haven't been too bad she is VERY independent and a smidge OCD so that is trying at times but overall she is pretty easy....she does have a lot more meltdowns lately....

Siblings? Well our original plan fell through we were supposed to start TTC NOW but we are waiting a bit since I got laid off I am hopeful that we will start TTC in the next 2-3 months

Is/was your Snow Pea excited for their birthday? yes! she would sing herself happy birthday all of the month before!

What does your Snow Pea like to do/play with? anything i don't want her to! she loves messy things. paint, playdough, snow, especially mud and rocks..

How's Potty Learning coming? eh.... she doesnt know BEFORE she is going, but she tries every time i take her to the potty and successfully avoids accidents for hours on end that way, but still doesnt know herself yet.

Surviving the terrible two's-- was it easy? no, but we made it

How about little siblings-- does your Snow Pea have any already, are you pregnant or TTC, or are you happy and content to be done with the infant stages? We have Bubba, who is 2 yrs 3 weeks younger than her, and more planned in a few years possibly.
