How are you all feeling? For those of us who don't read through the siblings sticky, give us an update on your pregnancy and upcoming arrivals. Girl? Boy? Due date? How is your Snow Pea taking the news? How are you preparing for your new arrival?
I have been so lax at checking in here lately, I'm sorry ladies!!
I am 33ish weeks along, and mostly feel like crap lol. I'm still puking once a day, usually in the evening, and I feel so much bigger this time around. LO is crazy active, way more than H ever was.
Hailey says there is a baby in my tummy, and that it needs to "gwo more" before it can come out lol. Realistaclly, she's clueless to how her world is about to be turned upside down! She says she's going to be a "big yister", and hug the baby, but she doesn't understand. She's a very empathetic child, and very caring, so I hope she will just love the baby. We are determined to not change her routine too much, and hopefully she won't feel replaced.
Baby is doing well, growing great. We have our prenatal consult with the prosthetics department next Friday to talk about what to expect after delivery. I'm becoming a bit more anxious now that its getting closer. DH is handling things a bit better, and we're feeling closer than we were earlier in the pregnancy. We are not ready to have this baby any time soon though! We need to get our butts in gear, there are ladies on my birth board who are full term today!!
I'm one of those on Meghan's birth board who is term already and Joy (Joysiloo) is ahead of me.
I'm doing okay. I've been feeling kinda low emotionally again and kinda like crap. Last week I was having real good contractions and they helped with cervix progress and my doc asked me to wait a week and rest. Now.. nothing. I'm losing faith in my body again.
Daniel is completely oblivious to the baby still. If you ask him where baby is he'll point to my belly, or his, or someone else's... He's got no clue what's about to happen. I hope he tolerates it well.

As you know, I'm on the opposite end of the preggo spectrum from the other girls who've chimed in.... I'm only 4.5 weeks! I have very few symptoms so far (slightly sore boobs, easily fatigued, round ligament pain). It was really fun telling Piper. She totally gets it too, I think mostly because I have a huge scrapbook of my entire pregnancy and her birth and bringing her home. She's obsessed with it and has been for some time. She asks all kinds of questions about it and always wants me to tell her the story of when she was born. Here's how the conversation went: Me: "Ya know how before you were born you were in my belly and as you grew my belly got bigger and bigger and bigger?" P: "Yeah! And then I came out your BOTTOM!!!" (her favorite part of the story) Me: "Yes, then you came out my bottom and we were so happy to meet you and then we got to take you home with us and now we all live together! Well, guess what? There's another baby in my belly right now! And it's teeny tiny right now so my belly isn't big yet, but it's gonna get big big big, just like it did when you were in there!" (she was gasping and oohing/ahhing throughout all of this) "And the best part is that you'll be a big sister!!" P: "Is it a baby brother or a baby sister?" Me: "We won't know for a long time. What do you think it is?" P: "A baby brother. No! A baby sister!! *Gasp!!!* Does she have a pink dress!???" Me: "If it's a baby sister then I'm sure she'll have a pink dress." P: "Just like ME!!!!!!" and then she wandered off. It was so cute! My husband recorded it. She understands the baby brother/sister thing pretty well because my friend just found out she's having a girl and her oldest son is a playmate of Piper's, so there's been lots of talk about that subject lately.

I'm almost in my 3rd trimester! This pregnancy feels like it's going both fast, and slow.....I freak out when I realize there's only 3 months left, yet, I feel like I've been pregnant FOREVER!
Our due date is November 16th, and we're having another boy! No names picked out yet. We are still tossing them around, and we never decide for sure until after baby is born.
This pregnancy is a little more rough on me than my previous ones. I got big so fast, and I've already been uncomfortable for months! I hope I can make it through the next 3 months without driving my family crazy! I have severe rib pain and pubic bone pain this time around. I always got sore ribs before, towards the end, but my right ribs have been killing me since I was about 4 months pregnant. My pubic bone is also constantly sore - doctor thinks it's already spreading in prep for birth, and that the baby will possibly be a big one. Eli was 9 lbs 7 oz though, so I pray this boy isn't TOO much bigger than him! I'm not a big lady!
Eli really has no understanding that we're having a new baby. His communication and comprehension is still behind. He notices my belly getting big, and sees Ella patting it, but he'll really be thrown for a loop once baby arrives! The closest I have gotten him to understanding is that he now thinks belly buttons are called "baby". My DD Ella is completely excited though! She can't wait to have another baby brother. She has already decided to call him "Strawberry Boy". (I think this has something to do with Strawberry Shortcake!) Thankfully I've convinced her that he will need a REAL name, but she can call him Strawberry Boy if she wants.
I just got the news that I passed my 2 hour glucose test, so things are going fairly well, other than my aches and pains (and my allergies! My doc won't let me take anything and my hayfever is dreadful!)
The first time we had an U/S, we showed the pics to DD Ella. She asked what they were, and we tried to show her the different body parts in the pictures. I said "This is the baby's head - see, the nose, and the mouth?" She pointed at the next picture and said "And this one's a CAT!"
Then we asked her what we should name it, and she said "baby Jesus" LOL!
Lately DH has gotten Daniel to start patting my belly and say "baby com-ahn". Kinda cute.
But when I have to pick up his screaming self and hold him still so he doesn't hurt himself or his big brother (MASSIVE temper tantrums going on here) it only makes me sympathize with the small little one inside the belly. This baby is gonna wait as long as possible so that it doesn't have to deal with the tantrums yet.. and sadly, I don't blame it one bit.
38 weeks today, though... so I'm also getting pretty impatient.
