You are a wonderful mother and are doing everything that God has given you strength to do. My mom and I have been praying for you guys constantly. She was put on this earth for a reason, and whatever God has planned for her life, will be fulfilled through Him.
Thank you for updating here. I have read every single post you have made on FB through this whole process, and yet I had failed to grasp how big the situation was! You are truly a strong woman and I am thankful that we have a God as gracious as He is, that only contributes to that strength and reminds us of what we can do through faith.
When you get weary, remember to turn to Him and remember that He is not finished with her yet. And the same goes for you. He is not finished with you yet either.
I will continue to pray for you and your family as you continue on the path to healing.

You are such a strong mom. God is watching over you and Alex. I am praying for you both and your family. It sounds like you have awesome friends and family there to support you. Please keep us posted. Sending HUGE hugs!
So glad to hear an update from you, Amie! I've often wondered what made you initially take her to get checked out. I'm glad Alex is doing as well as she is throughout this. I can only imagine the chemo treatments must be the absolute pits. One nice thing to think about is that, as horrible as this all is right now, it's probably very unlikely that Alex will remember much of it when she's older. Either way, you are doing an amazing job staying strong through this and I'm so glad you've got a great support system to help you through. Huge hugs to you and your family!!
Thanks so much for the update Amie! I can't even begin to imagine what all you guys have been through. Just about every time I hear of something like this the kids always seem to do remarkably well considering the circumstances. Glad to hear she is such a trooper. You could always get her the headband bows. My dd is obsessed with head bands right now. I have been thinking of you guys. I am not much into God, but glad you have found such strength through everything. Your support system sounds wonderful. Please keep us updated whenever you feel up to it.
