Earlier this year, there was the Pampers Dry Max mess. I know some of you guys had problems too. I never bought another Pamper brand diaper. This weekend, I got a box of Huggies (same kind, size, etc that I always get). I noticed they looked a little different when I got them out and now Ayden has that red raised burn like stuff on him. Anyone else noticed anything different about them? I hope it's just a fluke and that Huggies did not also change!!!!
Natalie is in training pants when it comes to disposables (for school and when we go out) since she lets me know if she wet herself. I've only ever used Pampers and Teddy's Choice Brands because Huggies does not come in her size which is still quite petite.
Natalie has sensitive skin so I prefer to keep her in her cloth diapers at home. My mom bought her some cloth training pants when we were out Christmas shopping last weekend, I can't wait until my dryer is fixed so that I can give them a try.

I don't know, we try to do mostly cloth, or at least I try to, DH doesnt do much unless he HAS to since i do almost all the diapers anyway i use what i want when i want.
but we DO use huggies pure and natural when we use sposies. i got a good deal on a case from amazon... almost time for another. $25 for 112 dipes wasnt a bad deal IMO, shipped straight to my door. i had a coupon.
I do buy the huggies supreme little movers when the p&n arent available, but thats not often. not for months now.
Ellie cannot use the snug and dry style anyway, it have her a horrible rash the only time we used them so we dont use them, along with pampers baby dry and i'm terrified to try the dry max style- thats what they will probably have in the hospital for #2 and it kind of scares me.
The rash it gave Ellie wasnt red or raised though, it was flat and looked really dry then proceeded to PEEL the top lay off her skin, it was the worst in any place that rubbed agaisnt the diaper, not so much at the waist but the thighs and her fat rolls
You can take your own diapers to the hospital if you want. I know my hospital won't let you bring in cloth but you are allowed to bring any brand. Our hospital uses pampers and we had the chemical burn problem with pampers so if we have another baby I will not use pampers. I know use sams club brand I love them! LeLand loves them and no rash and they don't leak overnight!
I hadn't notice the change in the actual diaper, but the picture on the box changed and I was wondering if they changed the product as well. Daniel does not seem to be affected if they did.

walmarts parents choice changed their diapers a couple months ago. it says that they are now like pampers. we didnt have a problem with them til the last 2-3 weeks. shes getting little bumps on her butt and her hooha is red and shes itching it alot. it comes and goes. one day it will be there, the next not then a couple days later back again. desitin usually helps. i have found that if i take them straight from the package and put them on izzy she will breakout. if they have sat around in the open for at least a day then its not too bad
I dont think they have changed. I know the boxes have. The only diapers that Trinity and Taylor have been able to use are Huggies lil movers anything else and they break out fast. Sydney got the chemical burn from the pampers when she was 2 days old. I mostly use Huggies lil movers on her but occasionally will use generic. Trinity is no longer in diapers so no worries with her but with Taylor and Sydney neither one has reacted to the diapers although Sydney does have a yeast infection diaper rash right now but its almost gone. Could it be a yeast infection rash?
We use huggies natural care, anything else causes nasty diaper rash, hope it's just a fluke.

Just found this thread after I noticed a reaction on my daughter skin to a new package of Huggies Little Movers. The latest ones appear to be what Pampers has done - reduced the fiber content while increasing the chemicals. What a horrible thing to do - especially without informing the general public. I had my spouse feel 3 different diapers. Two were from 2 different OLDER Huggies packages and one was from the newer Huggies package. My spouse easily picked-out the new ones! We quickly ran to Kroger which has Huggies on sale and scooped up all the little movers in the dark red/maroon boxes/packages. The packages/boxes that are regular red are the new ones and they have the "leak lock" system. Find those and you essentially have Pampers Dry Max.
All the more reason to do cloth with my next baby.
