Default Nap time and bed time

    Hi Ladies,
I wanted to know about your lo nap and bed time!

LeLand still takes a 3 hour nap right after lunch and I put all the kids to bed at 8pm and they get up about 8:30. I think he sleeps a lot But maybe it's just what he needs!

    What about your lo?

Naps are done on a as needed basis, when she does nap it is normally for 1-2 hours. We aim bed time for about 8:00pm - 8:30pm, we wake her around 7:30 am when I work and she wakes on her own between 8:00am and 8:30am when I don't work.

Savanna still takes an afternoon nap, we put her down right after lunch, so depending on the day, anywhere between 11:30-2....she will sleep anywhere from 1.5 to 3.5 hours. I put her down at 8 (usually, this summer I've been putting her down a little later than that) and I wake her up around 7 to 7:15 when I work, when I don't, she will sometimes sleep until 8:30 or 9

I feel so lucky to have such a good sleeper......BUT I'm thinking about getting rid of her binky in the next couple weeks, and I hope she STAYS a good sleeper!

I wouldn't worry about Leland sleeping too much! I bet he's a pretty happy kid during the day. I know for Griffin, if he wakes up too early or misses a nap, he is a totally different child. At this age, I think they sleep as much as they need to.

Griff takes a 2-3 hour nap (lately it's been closer to 3 hours) in the afternoon. We usually have lunch about 12 or 12:30, and then at around 1:30 (it's supposed to be 1, but it's been creeping later and now it's 1:30) we start the nap routine (diaper change/potty, books, milk and songs) and he's usually asleep around 2 or 2:30 and wakes up between 4:30 and 5. If he is still asleep at 5:15, I go wake him so he will be tired for bed that night.

At night, we start the routine about 8 or 8:30 (bath, jammies, books, milk and music) and he's asleep by 9:30, although sometimes on a rough night I don't make it out of his room until 10 (or I fall asleep in there and come out at 11!). He wakes up between 7 and 7:30 most days, sometimes if I'm lucky he sleeps til 8 or 8:30.

We've been on "vacation" at MIL's for two weeks now, so our bedtime schedule is ALL screwed up. Normally, though, nap time is as needed and bed time is about 8:30pm

Delaney naps around 12:30, after lunch, and sleeps 1.5-2 hours. If I get her down for nap too late, 1ish, and she sleeps till 3, bedtime is rough. She is in bed between 8 and 8:30 and wakes in the morning around 6:30-7.

Same here. We have been a little more lax on bedtime bc of summer, but naps are a must and their regular bedtime is 8, but with summer and sleeping later it's been between 830-9.

We quit the nap with Connor just after he turned 2. There were lots of days when we'd put him in his bed to nap, and he would stay in his bed fine, but wouldn't fall asleep, just would talk to himself etc for up to an hour and a half. Now we only make him have a nap if he is sick and needs the extra sleep. Otherwise, he is a fantastic sleeper - bedtime is 7:30pm and he sleeps straight through until 7:30 or 8am. Near the end of his napping schedule, he would wake up way earlier (like 6am ) but now that he doesn't nap, he doesn't get up quite as early - it's nice

    Bedtime? Really? LOL

Liam went to bed at 4:30 am the other day. Seriously. But we've moved and his schedule stayed in our old house! Trying to get settled and better but it's not looking promising!
