thats no fun heather! at least you had some time doing it! i'm glad i have a manual pump now, if the power goes out i still have that option... how did i get 350 oz stored with just a manual pump.. no wonder my hand cramped up today wheni was holding that bag.....

Sorry Heather. Maci and I are dealing with the same issues. Although Im pumping 4 times a day right now, she does get 6 bottles of breastmilk and 2 bottles of formula a day. It's rough pumping all the time. Im sure you have made the right decision based on you and your babies needs.

Hey ladies, I don't get to post much here but I am happy to have made it BF for 4 months today. I hope my supply keeps up. I am a little worried. I started back to work last week and before I was getting more pumping. Now at my 12:00 pumping time I only got 3 oz and that was combined from both. I dont think I have been drinking enough water though because I have been so busy. I have tried to drink more today. If I can make it through the next 2 weeks, I will be at home for the summer and hopefully be o.k.

Someone told me to try eating oatmeal had that really worked for anyone or is that just a wise tale? Thanks for the help.

I know Joy does daily and I try to as well (eat6 oatmeal). It seems to help my supply

we did nothing all weekend and i put liam on the boob the whole time, hungry or not. he's so easy to please with the superboob! i'm hoping it helped my supply. we'll see the next few days when i pump, which i have to go back to eating lunch in solitude and eating in my room while i pump, it's just soo nice to have adult interaction especially with my dh being a jerk most of the time, lol.

OMG! The usual office I pump in at work is being used this week. So this manager said I could use her office to pump and while I was in there pumping today, she walked in on ME! WTH? There is no lock on the door, so there really wasnt anything I could do. I was so pissed. If you wanted to see my boob, you could have just asked.

DH's buddy just finished AIT after his bootcamp, and stopped to visit yesterday. we've all been buddies since highschool. so his girlfriend (who had an emergency c section last week at 34weeks with their second son, vertical cut and everything because her placenta tore) asks if i'm still "nipple feeding" i could have fallen on the floor laughing. she has 2 kids and cant remember "nursing" or "breastfeeding" you can tell she's a formula mommy.
anyway so i said "yes, she has a bottle today because i had to work and i defrosted it and i dont want the rest to go to waste" then i thought i'd be funny and tell DH's friend that if he has ever in his life wanted to see my boobs (we were in highschool together. it has come up) all he has to do is wait until ihave to feed Ellie again. and he pretended to get all excited and what do you know, 10 minutes later Ellie finished her bottle and wanted more so out came the boobs!

i just had to tell my BFing story from yesterday.
