1st appointment today (xp)

Went well....but I feel like I have run a marathon.

Went in, did the whole finance consult (same as last time, don't pay until after the delivery). That went well. Then I had the weight, blood pressure, pee in a cup time. Nicholas and Clif were in the waiting room. Nicholas didn't want me to leave him so he screamed the entire time I was in the back. I could hear him from the bathroom! EEEK poor people in the waiting room. I'm sure we looked like parents of the year there.

Met with the doctor, that went REALLY well. He loved seeing Nicholas and this is my most favorite doctor in the practice. We discussed what I work with (chemicals) and the dr. ordered some extra bloodwork for that. Talked about autism on my dad's side of the family and he is referring me to a geneticist to talk about that (i'm only going to go if insurance covers the visit). I told him my periods were very irregular for the past year, with my cycles ranging from 32-55 days and different every month. That was the winner and he ordered an ultrasound!!!!!! for dating! They tried to get me in today but they were full so my u/s is monday afternoon at 3pm. I can't wait to see baby 2!

I had to drive to another office for the bloodwork since it was "specialty" bloodwork and I totally freaked out when I saw the tubes they had to draw (15). I don't know why usually I am ok with things but I got really scared and nervous right before they stuck me and I cried the entire time. I probably freaked out the lady but she was really nice about it.

So that was my whirlwind day. I still feel all flustered about everything that is going on. Must be the horomones.

Oh yeah- My tentative due date as of now is December 22nd, which is early. We will see if they change it after Monday.

Yay! Glad everything went well...but so sorry you felt so scared about the bloodwork. Sounds like a lot, though, so in sure it was warranted!

And you get to see the LO on Monday!! Yahoo

As for EDD, since you know when you Od, you know what it 'really' is despite the stupid wheel that use.

Aww fun, don't you love feeling like "those parents" when your kid is throwing a fit. Lol. I just try to play it off like it's no big deal but I am cringing inside.

Glad you had a good appt. So they dont have you pay anything before delivery? My hospital and ob make you pay everything by 28 weeks. Wow.

Good luck Monday, can't wait to see your u/s.

Glad you had a good appointment and yay for an u/s!!! About the 15 vials, I had that with DD too because of some extra testing they wanted to run, and I teared up and then fainted! lol. To make it worse, DH worked at the hospital I was getting the blood work at, so him and his buddies there teased me for months, they work in the ER and none of them understand my phobia of blood. But, seriously, why the heck do they need so much?!
