I know we are - we've had a boy's name planned for about 3 years (it progressed from "If we were to have more kids, and it was a boy, we'd name him *this*" to "When we have more and it's a boy, we'll name him *this*" to "If it's a boy, *this* is his name"), but we're having a helluva hard time with girl's names.
The two girls we have already have names that end in A, and I'm feeling an anal-retentive desire to maintain that for a third girl. However, all the ends-in-A names that I've been seeing suggested are just not right - in fact, some of them are downright strange (Bubbalina? Gamelia? I'm all for being "unique", but I wish people would remember that their kids actually have to sign loan applications and college forms and survive in the adult world with these names...)
Would it be that horrible if the third daughter's name DIDN'T end in A? This opens up the possibility of so many names...but then it wouldn't match the preset order...whargarrrrble!
Ugh, I find myself hoping it's a boy so that I can just use the name we've had planned and not freaking worry about it anymore, LOL.
