Baby Names :) since many of u know the gender now

Hello again,

Just really feel like chatting today Smile

Since many of you have found out the gender.. how is the baby naming game going? jk

I was thinking the following...

Boys:
Landon Cameron Leigh (DH brothers middle name Cameron)
Brandon Cameron Leigh (Dh middle name Brandon and his brothers middle name)

Girls:
Bethany Lorene Leigh (lauren is another way to spell it but Lorene is my grandmothers name / my middle is rene.. best of both worlds)

Eliana Rene Leigh

Hmm I have a list.. but these I think I like the most.. any suggestions that is much appreciated. (Leigh is a hard name to match)

I like Landon Cameron for a boy and I like Eliana Rene for the girl name for you. Smile

We haven't picked a boys name because we just can't seem to think about them but if it's a girl the name will be "Rose Afton W". After DH's recently passed grandma.

Oh how I wish I knew. We are taking suggestions. With DS we had a girl name and a boy name picked out right away and knew for sure those would be the names we used. This time we can't decide or agree at all and so I am just hoping to have something by the time I have her.

This is our list so far:

First is: Jesse Mae

Also, if I deliver close to christmas: Noelle

Mabel is another maybe.

We love Clementine, but we don't want her called Clem. =/

We also liked Hazel & Ruby, but I already have Violet & that's a color. lol

We already have a name... Henry William Nash (Nash)... But I knew that would be his name before he even came along!

For your names, I think both boys names are great! Brandon and Landon both flow nicely with the middle names. I think I might like Landon better but no idea why.

Not a big fan of Eliana Rene but that's only because it's so close to your other DD's name. But Bethany Lorene is a great name. If you really love Eliana, I don't think I would use Rene but Lorene is just different enough, you know?

Our girl list was leaning towards Gemma but Imogen was close. Years past, Eloise and Teagan were front runners.

I really like the name Nash.. very different Smile
As for Eliana it is actually pronounced completely different then Elena Wink But I know what you mean it is close.
I tell you it is very hard to come up with names that we both like. Watch we will have completely different names by the 3rd tri lol However I really think Landon will not change at all .. love itttttttttttt Wink

I think Rose is such a classy name.

We got Jesse b/c one of the things we have in common & that brought us together initially was music. I introduced him to a group called Eagles of Death Metal. One of the guys is Jesse Hughes aka Boots Electric.

The other guy in the band is the singer from Queens of the Stone Age. His aka in Eagles is Baby Duck.

We have SERIOUSLY considered having the middle name of our girl be "baby duck."

Is that too mean?

I've always loved the name Rose but I didn't know if I would be able to name a daughter that. Once I found out DH had a grandma that name we both immediately knew one of our daughters would carry her name.

Everyone has such great name ideas!

We have absolutely NONE. Dh won't even discuss names until we know what we are having.

The names we have "leftover" that got passed over last few times are still there for dh, but I have changed my mind on them--boy: Zachary and girl: Savannah. But they have just lost their favor for me--still nice names, but I just don't LOVE them anymore. But dh still loves Savannah, especially if she has red hair.

I have no ideas on boys names I like, but I have been liking the name Charlotte recently, but dh doesn't. ( I keep mentioning it just in case Wink ) And I like the name Coraline, but that movie Coraline was so dark--I liked it in a way, but I don't think we'll use it because of the movie.

Ohh, I'll play!

Right now for boys we are leaning towards the first names Logan and Rowan...I am in love with the name Logan, I don't know why I just do!

For a girl, we are thinking about Reagan and Madison...I'm not really sold on either one, but those are the ones that stick out for me now. Wink

Middle names are still TBA...we aren't sure what we want to do there.

I feel like baby names have got me OBSESED!!! I think names are SO important, its like your "brand" its something people will judge before they ever know you!! BUT with that said, I would like my kids to have forward names, something new. Im all for classic names but my sons name is Mason so, its not exactly "classic" so I would like something modern so it will match!!

If we have a boy we have a 100% name -

Maddox Randle (my maiden last name) Velasquez

for a girl we have a huge list!! the ones that have a * next to it we like the most

*Tegan - girl
Remi -girl
Cora -girl
Elsa -girl
Malia - girl
Dayton - girl
*Mckenna-Makena-Mackenna - girl
*Scarlet - girl
Jordie - girl
Naylee - girl
Hanlee - girl
Adalay - girl
Tenley - girl
Ariea (are-e-ya) - girl
*Harper - girl..
Bre-ell -girl
Everlee - girl
Ryker - girl
*Ellie - girl
*Elladee - girl
Malori (ma-lori) - girl
Lola - girl

Are list for boys were:

Lennix - boy
Britian - boy
Quincy - boy
Arlo - boy
Lochlyn- boy
Tovie - Boy
Ten a sin - Tennasyon - boy
Jacoby - boy
Mekhi - boy
Malachi - boy
Milo - boy
Lux - boy

You all have such great names in the running. DH and I have nothing up our sleve at the moment! Naming our DS was easy, David is a family name my husbands and his Dad. I have no idea what we will end up with

I have thought about this some for both sexes because I have some names that I have really loved since I was a child. I LOVE the name Isabella but alas twilight has stolen that name. I don't want anyone thinking I named my baby girl after her. I also like Savannah, Gabriella, Sophia, Lila, Chloe, Aubrey. Those are all on the top of my list. The boy list is Christopher and a middle name of Mikel for my father who is passed. I also like Benjamin, Gabriel, Alexander,Tristan, Nicholas. I'm sure for the baby comes, I will think of many more lol! But if the baby is a boy, the middle name is going to be after my father who is passed.

Awww Logan is a very nice name .. you don’t really get to hear that one that much. Same goes for Reagan but I really like Madison.. that one is on my long list too Smile

Maddox Randle sounds very good together Smile Luv it.. from your boys list I like Britian..I had that one on my list but I really think we are going with Landon Smile
You really do have a long list for girls. I find it harder to come up with a girl names then boys.

From your list.. I like.. Elsa and Elladee.. too cute

My Dh wants to carry on a name of either his fathers, brothers or his middle name. So our boy name was hard to match up but in the end we figured it out and I am sure you guys will come up with a GREAT name to go with David Smile

Aww don’t you just when a movie or PERSON butchers a name.. I used to love the name Ian until someone I knew for only 3 months destroyed it.. As for Isabella.. I still think it is a very cute name as well as Sophia.. (both remind me of a delicate sweet lil girl) I like Tristan for a boy and it goes well with Mikel Smile

Love the name ideas. I truly have no idea. I am just waiting until we find out what we are having & then maybe we will get serious about the names. I just can't get into it this time!!

I'm one of those dorks who thinks about names even when not pregnant. Oddly, boy names are easy for me/us...girl names, forget it.

Everyone has some great contenders, though!
