bought lil man's first Teddy etc

Last night me and my DH went to the store to each pick out something for our lil man. First of all let me say aside from lil onesies I will not be shopping at walmart for boy clothes.. OMG they are all so ugly.. Perhaps it is just this one location but wow I was surprised.. Boooooo Of course they had some really cute things for little girls. We did find a few things though and spend quite a bit. My favorite is a lil onesie that says MAN OF THE HOUSE.. too cute.. we purchased a few matching onesies, bibs and hats, Tiger baby blanket and a part of adorable shoes. My DH looked so cute picking out his first gift and it was a Teddy bear.. so cute.. when he got home my silly DH took an outfit and put it on the teddy bear. (practicing lo) Well I thought I ‘d share my ever so interesting visit to walmart Smile Going to Carters & Macy's next Smile

Roni you have to look hard but there are tons of cute stuff for boys out there. I mainly shop at Kohls (jumping beans line is cute AND cheap!) Old Navy, and Carter's. Check out the stuff online before you go there so you know what to expect. That is too cute about your DH dressing the teddy bear. Next have him practice with a diaper!!! We practiced putting a teddy bear in the car seat before Nicholas was born LOL Smile

I never shop at WalMart unless DH needs car oil parts or boys need fishing gear.

Cute boy clothes are super easy to find but yes, you do have to he willing to shop and $.

Try GAP Baby, Janie and Jack, and Nordstrom has cute stuff. Also, Zulily.com is a discount online store that has awesome brands for discounts for a very short time. Definitely some great stuff for baby and mommy!

Thanks Ladies..
I love Kohls and Carters Smile I have a lot of girls and boys clothes but we wanted to pick something special out for the new lil man in our lives Smile
Your right Angela: Dh will need to practice that as well.. it was just too cute him asking how to do it.. I have a feeling though he is going to freak out when Landon comes but I really hope not.
Christina: not even sure why we ended up there as I rarely go there myself.. we did have fun though but there really was not that much to look at. I need to take DH to Babies R US.. I think he will get a kick out out of it. Never heard of Janie and Jack but I guess they don’t have them in FL but then again it was a LONG time ago when I went shopping for lil ones.

lurker- I love the teddy bear story. When I was pregnant with DS, DH won me a stuffed monkey from one of those claw machines (cheesy, I know) and he used that to practice changing diapers and clothes. So cute. Smile

We have an Oshkosh outlet I LOVE for my boy's stuff (and girl's too!). All their clothes are so cute!

Love that he dressed the bear!

Yay for first purchases! I rarely ever shopped at walmart for my son because the clothes there for boys are usually always ugly, sometime you can luck out and find something cute. I agree about Khols, their jumping bean line is adorable and very affordable. I also shop at Target for my sons clothes, I like their Circo line.
