Love your knitting ticker Biggrin I love yarn and would have a whole room of it if I could!! I love to knit as well!! Are you on Ravelry? Currently frustrated because I'm working on a twirly skirt for DD3's birthday (which was May 5th  ) and have pulled it out so many times I could "scream" Keep getting the waist too big so am going to have to cut down on the number of stitches. It's a simple pattern though once I get the waist straightened out. Smile

Who else on this board is a knitter/crocheter/crafter? Biggrin

I make cakes...other than that I am seriously missing the crafty/sewing gene.

I can knit scarves. That's the best I have ever been able to do. I tried a couple of hats, but I could never get the sizing right.

I just learned to sew a few months ago but I'm a knitting virgin. I just bought my first ball of yarn last night because I have a friend who's going to teach me.

I can't knit or anything like that, but I do sew, scrap, cook, decorate cakes, coupon, etc.

Christina, your cakes are FANTASTIC!! I'm doing good to even make a cake for my lo's birthdays (usually it's either my little sister who makes them or DQ Wink ) lol Would like it if some of your talent could be sent my way Biggrin

Alissa, have you gone on www.ravelry.com? If not, it's a wonderful site and they have a lot of cool, free patterns. I just looked at a neat pattern tonight that someone made up after seeing a Marc Jacob's scarf.

Elizabeth, you are entering a wonderful new world!! :icecream: Also, if you're ever practicing and you can't get in touch w/ your friend (if you're a night owl like me), don't forget that there are a lot of great video tutorials that you can google to help remind you of what she's taught you. Biggrin

Christine, please send some of your sewing and scrapbooking talents my way! I've done a bit of sewing but in the past have gotten easily frustrated. I would love to be able to get past that point as there are so many cool things to be made that way especially now that there are lots of upcycle ideas out there.

Hahahahahaha. You're silly.

I have a craft room full of scrap booking stuff, sewing stuff, knitting stuff, painting stuff.... But I never ever use it. I do bake and cook and take pictures though. Smile

Yep, I'm on Ravelry - same name. I mainly hang out in the Lazy, Stupid, and Godless forum, and I moderate the LSG Parents board.

I knit, spin, dye fiber and yarn, crochet, sew and weave -pretty much in that order. I'm also a decent baker, but the extent of my "bakin' skillz" goes to chocolate chip cookies and banana bread.
