We had a lazy day today. Well, not so lazy as I worked in the garden all day but since DH had lots of work on a trial starting soon he sequestered himself and it was just me and the boys.

We also met a photographer for family photos in the park early in the evening when lighting was best (or so she said). It was fun but DS#4 only lasted about 45 minutes out of the hour shoot. I'm sure she got some great shots and I'm so excited to see what she captured. Afterward we went to Chipotle for dinner...yummy! Of course after eating I felt sick to my stomach. Oh well!

HI!
I like chatting.. hehe.. lets see.. today we went to the zoo. was so much fun!! Apparently everyone wanted to go to the Zoo because we literally had to park a mile away and walk these odd trails to get there.. was fun though! And worth the extra walk since we had hotdogs and ice cream haha...

And now I just took two sociology quizzes, one was soooo easy I couldnt believe it and the next I was stumped.. even balance I guess!!!
I have school in the morning and don't really want to go.. Self-paced classes suck sometimes.. because you choose when to go soo.. more often then not i'd rather choose not to go.. hehe...

Have our first BIG paper due.. on.. MOTHERS DAY.. what a crock!! Being the procrastinator that I am I'll probably have to spend all day mothers day doing it... maybe just maybe I'll do it Friday night!! Its about 16 candles... anyone like that movie?? help!! hehe

Also, still waiting on AF... never waited so long.. ever.. im like a 28day'er maybe 29 on an odd month... so its day 32 and no show! GR!!

anyhoo, guess i'll go get ready for bed and hopefully wake up to a nice big AF! hahahah

Right now I'm watching the cats battle each other for...well, whatever cats fight about. Prime couch cushion or something. The Things are supposed to be getting ready for school, but it's 20 minutes till when we leave and Thing 2 is still slurping away at her breakfast and Thing 1 is parked on the toilet, probably reading a book. I've GOT to start getting them up earlier if they're going to lollygag like this.

Our day just started. Me and hubby got a great night sleep last night, finally. The nurses left him alone for most of the night which is good. This morning they are scheduling and MRI to try and get some answers. Hopefully that will give us an answer because he really doesnt want the spinal tap done, but if he has to get it then he has to, kwim? He is doing great, has been hitting on me all morning and upset because I wont give him any in the hopital bed LMAO. Gotta love him!

Cait- I have seen that movie soooo many times! Ask away!! Zoo sounds super fun!

Berry- 'parked on the toilet' has me in stitches! One of my twins, I swear, takes forever on the toilet.

Lisa- sounds like he is getting back to normal. Wink Men!

Christina - Sounds like you had a good Sunday! Smile

I have had two amazing weekends in a row! Saturday was so gorgeous out and I had a photo shoot with a family in a beautiful park. It was loads of fun. Then we took a nice long nap. Sunday we went to a baseball game and the home team won.

I am ready for the work week to be over already and I have only been at work for 2 hours, hahaha.

Well back to the daily grind at work....we had a wonderful weekend. We did a 2.5 mi. MS walk on Saturday morning, which was really fun and beautiful. We walked next to my co-worker and her dog and Nicholas probably said dog over 300 times. He loves looking at animals.

Sunday we went shopping at kohls and I just have to tell you my good deals- I found a pair of maternity jeans on clearance for $11.60. They are the full pannel kind which I love up until about month 8 so that is awesome. I got a shirt and a pair of shorts on clearance for Nicholas too because I had a $10 off $20 coupon. Well, I had to go to customer service to get a partial refund on some shoes that I bought for Nick a while ago and the way the manager did the refund and my coupons, I ended up getting PAID $8 for everything! Whooo hoooo don't see that too often.

Jenna- I love your pics! Wish we didn't live on opposites side of the country! Wink

Angela- Holy Moly!!! Those are great deals!! Wish I could shop like that. Glad the walk was so fun! Rourke loves dogs, too, but he just points and says Da!! Da!!

Your sale made me think of my good deals yesterday. I went to Penney's because I had a coupon for $10 off a purchase of $10 or more. I found 2 really cool pairs of maternity jeans on sale. One was on sale for $15 and the other for $8 . When she rang it up she said "You saved $69 today!" WOW! With tax I got away with only paying $15.

Love deals on maternity clothes!

Jenn - WHOA. That's a HUGE savings! How awesome!

Christina - Thank you! Smile You know, I am from AZ and I am probably moving to Las Vegas sometime next year. We can make a photo session happen one of these days, hahaha.

That's a great deal on Mat clothes Jenn! You have to really be on the lookout for maternity because they don't go on sale very much...and are super expensive if you pay full price! I remember going to a motherhood "outlet" when I was pg with Nicholas and I walked out with only 1 shirt because I couldn't bring myself to spend that much money on something I will only wear for a few months.

I went to Motherhood at lunch today for a dress and my friend said "Look, they are cheap - this is only $40" To me - $40 is too much for something I can only wear when pg.

Haha this is how cheap I am: Won't spend more than $15 for a shirt (under most circumstances). Won't spend more than $25 for a pair of pants.

Forget dresses and skirts...I don't wear them on a routine basis so I don't have any in maternity.

Maternity deals from last week:

I went to a consignment sale and got 2 pairs of mat shorts (jean, khacki), 1 pair maternity capris (black), 1 pair gray comfy pants maternity, and 1 maternity shirt all for $20. Another good deal!!!!

Its also hard to justify buying mat clothes when I was just pg in 2008 and have all those clothes still. But I didn't love them when I wore them before and I dread wearing them again.

Geez~ I really need to learn to shop like you ladies. I LOVE clothes so much!!! I have spent $300+ on a sweater and OMG, I have a pair of heels that were $400+ and I have worn them 3 times (they are 5 years old). Ugh, I'm terrible. I LOVE fashion...I LOVE shoes...I LOVE makeup...I LOVE purses. I can shop and shop all day. I don't really buy nuch. It really had to catch my fancy I love to window shop and look/touch things but when I buy...I go all out!

DH doesn't really like to go shopping with me. Don't let me near the Nordies Shoe Dept...we;ll be there for hours as I meander through the shoes and then try them ALL on...and then walk out with nothing but lusting all of them. I wanna go shopping!

Jenn~ I just read you space...how inspiring! A true blessing no doubt!

See - there is the difference - I hate shopping! LOL So when I go I know there is a sale and I know what I need. I don't like to window shop or to try anything on unless I really need it and just HAVE to try it on. HA

Thank you. I realized yesterday that I had been saying I was TTC for 10 years, but actually its 11  How funny that after a decade of TTC on my own I have lost track. ha

Oh and this weekend I looked at all your cakes - OMGosh - amazing! Did you go to school to learn or are you self taught?

I did go to culinary school but my decorating skill came from working in a bakery.

We did tons of cakes and when the lead decorator (I did all the details, though, she put them all on the cake) went on maternity leave I took over and got even more experience. It's a (stressful) labor of love.

Kudos to you for staying so strong! TTC for so long can definitely take a toll on your mind and heart. But I am so happy to share a BB with you and share the miracle!

I just read it too and I am SO happy for you ! I suffered from infertility for 6 1/2 yrs before getting pg with my first, and it was one of the hardest things I have ever had to go through. I can't imagine how difficult your journey has been. I'm so thrilled for you. It's always fun proving Dr's wrong isn't it ? Biggrin

I would love to do that for a living but my attention to detail is obsolete. Ha

Awww, thank you, that really means so much to me.

Good morning ladies! I hope everyone is having a great day so far.

I have so much cleaning to do! I planned to do it yesterday but that plan fizzled. Now I have to muster the energy to do it today. Bleck...I hate cleaning. Luckily it's more clutter but still.

Anyone watch extreme couponing? Its motivating to make me want to coupon..

Kevin thinks its bad when I "coupon" because I just buy 100x more things then I planned, just because I have the coupon, so therefore i'm spending more then saving.. hehehe..

I feel that I deserve a big shopping trip myself, asked my bestie if she wanted to go to Portland friday because I need some new clothessss!! Start my new job soon so I feel I deserve some new things.. since my only job the last 4 years has involved getting puked or poo'd on wardrobe didn't really matter... hehe...

Plus it'll cheer my hormonal grumpy self up!!

I watched that sow once and didn't really get it. How do these ladies find coupons for fresh fruit and veg and meat? Not to mention they don't do double coupons here more do the allow multiple coupons but oh well. I agree, when I try to coupon I just end up buy junk I wouldn't normally.

Have fun shopping!! I love shopping!!

Yes I would love to know how people get coupons for fruit, milk, veggies, etc. because that is mostly what we spend all our grocery budget on.

I watched the show and it was amazing to me. I wish I could get as many free diapers as someone had in their storage closet...and they didn't even have any kids!

How's everyone feeling this morning? I am super tired but getting excited for my first ob appt tomorrow.

I am tired and bored and hungry and at work. Not a good combo. Haha.

So excited for your update, Angela!!

I'm good but very tired, too. Still no appetite. Last night the night sickies hit and it was awful. But keep the reassurances coming body!! The one thing I have noticed so far is that I don't seem to be using the bathroom more. Weird. One of my first symptoms with DS#4 was getting up in the middle of the night to go...not so much right now.

Same here. I am waking up earlier to go but I don't go much during the day. I'm sure that will come as my belly expands.

I've started having a bit of the "smell any type of ANYTHING and gag" drama. On the way in to work I was feeling queazy and when I got in the doors someone was making sausage and I had to hold my breathe and run into my office. I can tell this won't be an easy secret to keep - LOL. With DS I never got sick but I feel it coming on more and more with this LO.

Hi ladies! Guess I got to do today??? Nap!!!! It was wonderful. Well until dogs started barking and woke me up but my hour nap was great! Of course, I woke up with nausea and dizziness but that's ok.

One of my older sons is very into Parkour/ Freerunning and is actively perusing a teacher/class where ge can learn more. It's neat to see him so excited about it and willing to do leg work to make it happen.

My oldest son is at school but looking for more work. Has a prospect that may be realized but won't know until mid May. Ge works part time now but would Luke more money. He's ready to try to be responsible. Wink Really wants to try and be on his own and such. Great but sad at the same time.

Love my boys so much.

We're going to San Francisco for the day on Saturday!! Foodie heaven! Excited and hoping I'll have at least a bit of an appetite. Also meeting my mom there so that'll be super fun! Just gotta keep my mouth shut about being preggo. Smile

Then Sunday I am celebrating my mom with my brother's.

When do you plan to tell?

So we're on our way to foodie Mecca and I am so excited!! Woke up this morning and guess what...no nausea!! Huh? It's been a week and a half and it's all I felt. It seems strange to now be driving and be totally fine!

Super excited though...I can enjoy myself without having to try not to hurl all over! Of course, I did wake up to new Brest pain that is pretty intense!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

Its about that time here and I am starving. I went from never hungry at all to being hungry all the time. And if I get something to eat that I really like - I feel like the portion is never big enough and I run out too soon. This is not good for my weight! HA

We have already told our siblings, parents, bosses and closest friends. Actually we told most of them the day I got my BFP. My coworkers and all my other friends will eventually find out but not before my first OB appt.

So, I kept it a secret! Didn't tell my mom!! Whew!

Called the doctors office and have my first appointments set up. The first for paperwork an bloodwork...May 27 and the the second is with the OB for pap and U/S...June 16! Ahhhh...so excited!

Is it just me or does it nor seem real for anyone else? I guess 9 months will do that to you. (I know some of you have been trying for much longer so I feel silly even saying that but...what are ya gonna do. If it's how you fell, it's how you feel, right?) So, yeah, needless to say I just keep staring at my tests!

BTW...am I the only one who keeps the tests? I kept DS#4 tests until a few months after I had him. I would always stare at them, too. Even when I was huge!!

Ha - you kept the test for "a few months" - I still have mine from 3 years ago . I have 2 from DS and now 15  from this pregnancy. ha. I have them in a baggie on my bathroom counter and I look at them every few days. I totally don't think it feels real yet. I feel like I'm still "dreaming" and doing the hypothetical "IF I was pg, how would we have the house arranged? What would you want the name to be? Who should we tell?" I feel like I'm almost daydreaming and eventually I will have to snap out of it.

Awww, I can completely understand, Jenna. Your chart looks so good I know how crushing it can be. Well, IF you don't test tomorrow...use an OPK on 12 dpo, ok? If its positive dip a HPT!!!! If not, seeing the faint second line isn't as crushing as seeing that BFN...at least for me.
