Chinese Calander

I know we had a post about this before but I cant seem to find it. Has anyone went by this calendar for predicting boy and girl and has it been right? I have a friend who used it for all her pregnancies and it came out right. Yesterday I was looking at it and based on my lunar age and month I conceived DS it was right in saying that I was having a boy. This time it is saying girl and that really excited me lol. Guess I will be finding out in 12 or so weeks Biggrin

Here is the site if anyone wants to check it out.

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble....my the prediction said girl for Ethan...clearly he is a boy. For this LO it says girl, so we will see.....unless I'm doing it wrong?? I was 22 when I got pregnant and concieved in September....girl right? And then for this little one....I'm 25 and concieved in April. Thoughts?

You have to figure out your lunar age and the lunar month. Not that this is anymore than fun, though.

Right now I am 36 and I conceived in April but Lunar I am 38 and conceived in March.

Just do the cabbage test...much cheaper...or you could do the baking soda test.

You have to find a thing and find your lunar age and month of
Conception then it will tell you boy or girl. Like for my my lunar age is 27 an my conception is month 5.

What is the cabbage test and the baking soda test? I can't get to your link from work, but I think that I did that when I was preg with T and it said he was going to be a girl. Then I looked at one of those predictors for this preg, and it said boy. I am hoping it's wrong again - maybe I'll have better luck with the cabbage or baking soda test?

Thing is about Intelligender - it says right in the packaging (in super tiny letters, located inside the sealed package) that the results should not be interpreted for anything except for novelty entertainment purposes only. They put this disclaimer on the package to avoid being sued by people who thought they were getting one gender based on what the test says and then were surprised on delivery day.

Biologically, there's absolutely nothing in a woman's urine that can predict the gender of a baby with any more accuracy than pulling "boy" or "girl" out of a hat. Heck, women have had better luck predicting the sex of their baby accurately themselves than by using "entertainment" tests.

But if you've got the $30-something to spend on the test and are amused by it, by all means go for it - just don't paint the nursery based on the results.

As for the Chinese calendar thing - it's all for entertainment purposes only...but I checked it a couple weeks ago for Things 1 and 2, and it predicted that they would be girls. Who knows, it says "boy" for Thing 3, and that's what I'm thinking too...

CRAAAAAAAAAAAAP, this one say another girl for us. I swear, if this one's a girl, I'm buying stock in Tampax and Midol to try to get some of my money back.

According to that chart, 18 yr olds don't have much chance at having a girl!

And 21 yr olds can only have a boy if they concieved in January!

My ds was conceived in Nov when I was 27 but I got pg with him in Feb - the joys of fertility treatments. So this calendar is off for us - ha!

ROFL Too funny!!!!

The charts have to be for fun only because, if not, you'd never see b/g twins.

Sweet! I like the new chart - it says I'm having a girl. Also, it was right about DS. Just for fun of course. LOL Jenn! I had to read that like 3 times before I got it.

Its funny because me and my friend are 6 months apart and another set of friends are also 6 months apart and we both got pregnant 9 months apart.. thats a tongue twister.. but... each set had a boy and girl! and it both fit the calendar! was kinda fun!! (We conceived at 20 and they conceived at 21)

Maybe it tells the gender of the first twin, and its BOGO so you just get the other gender for free Smile
