Maternity clothes

That's right... not even 5 weeks pregnant and in maternity shorts and top, haha. My lower belly feels so full it was really uncomfortable for me to sleep last night, since I sleep kinda half on my stomach. I went to put on my jeans this morning and it was just uncomfortable so I brought out the clothes... oh well... it's not obvious they're maternity... I think!

I haven't worn any of mine yet, but it won't be long. I've popped out so much sooner than I did with DD. We're at the beach and DH keeps asking me to wear my two pieces, but I feel like I have a beer gut. I keep seeing these expecting moms with cute, but obvious baby bellies and here I come, sportin' my beer belly. Sexy!

My maternity shorts for this summer are really comfy so I have been wearing those...and a few tops when we have been out and about this weekend. At work I am still wearing my regular jeans and just some bigger t-shirts (v. casual dress since we work with chemicals).

I've worn maternity pants for a week (or three) lately, lol. The pressure on my abdomen from my regular clothes was getting to be too painful.

i started wearing my maternity clothes last week...life is too short to spend it wearing too tight pants. it's bad enough that i work sitting at a desk all day, but to spend those 8 hours sitting in pants that cut off my circulation was torture.

ahhh, i love maternity clothes!!

I started wearing mine this weekend, none of my shorts would button, so much more comfortable!

I refuse. Lol I can't outgrow my clothes until after the wedding. Lol

(thinks she can keep herself in normal clothes and thus be able to wear the bridesmaid dress by sheer force of will - only 1 more month to go!)

Alissa- grab some Spanx, girl!

As for me, still comfy in my clothes. I did go look at maternity clothes this weekend and felt so silly even walking in as i am not even bloated. Anyway, they have some super cute stuff!!

Still in normal clothes. Really gonna try to stick w/ the running so at least my butt stays in shape. lol.

I just lost all this weight & got rid of SO MANY clothes that I would be able to use now. Grrr. I don't have any maternity clothes, think I may head down to the 2nd hand stores.

Oh I felt like an idiot walking into Motherhood with no bump when I bought my dress. Thankfully they didn't ask when my DD was or I would have been even more embarrassed to say "9 months from now" LOL

Same here - I lost 65 lbs after having DS and gave a lot of my bigger clothes away or sold them in a garage sale. And now all my old maternity clothes are huge on me because I started this pg out a lot smaller than I did my last one.

Christina - One step ahead of you! I got the Spanx that cover me from knee to just below the bra. I hope all of that compression is okay for the baby. LOL

Lesley - running pregnant! You are one tough cookie! It's all I can do to take a walk these days.

Loved my Spanx back when I had to work in an office. Makes everything nice and smooth! Sounds like you have the sane one I do. I don't think it'll be bad for babe. Can you change out of the dress after ceremony and pictures? Maybe have another dress for reception?

All my maternity clothes are winter clothes, so it will be a while before I can pull those out. Luckily I have a bunch of summer stuff that I can wear that I bought when I was still trying to lose the weight from Natalie. So those should hopefully buy me a couple of months before they get too tight.

I don't have summer maternity clothes because DD was born in May and then I wore sweats on maternity leave. I can't wear sweats to work so long story short, I hope my clothes keep fitting. I also have to fit into a bridesmaid's dress in early July so I hope that will work out. I will check out those spanx.
