non-bloating dinner food ideas?

Hi Ladies. Every night after dinner I get so bloated, I have to put stretchy pants on and let it all hang out. Is there something I can do to prevent this being so bad? Eat less salt, drink more water, etc? Tonight DH is out of town on business so DD and I had blueberry pancakes with cut up strawberries (I put sugar on them to make them juicy). I drank water. It's a little bit of a problem after lunch but not that bad. Any ideas?

Could be starches or carb/breads. Try cutting those down and see.

Last night I was complaining that certain times I feel so full and that I had a lead brick in my belly and that it mad me feel disgusting. Hubby pointed out that I had eaten mostly starches. I cut them out today and I feel great.

what about a nice fresh salad with lots of veggies in it? You could add some sliced grilled chicken to the top or even some grilled/steamed shrimp or tuna (ok in moderation).

Agree, go light on the carbs and light on the sodium. On the sodium thing, if you're eating a lot of pre-packaged foods, pay attention to the sodium content. You would never guess how much salt they put in stuff! It's crazy, and not good for bloating at all.

Thanks. I really try to not eat processed foods, so I don't think I eat too much salt but I will try cutting back on the carbs. Having comfy clothes on helped tonight.
