Not a single name!

We do not have a single name idea! Not for boy or girl! I can't wait until we find out what we are having next Thursday so we can cut out half the work of finding a name. Anyone else have NO name ideas at all?

Oh, and I've been slowly going through a baby name list app I downloaded. I'm halfway through the boy list--I am at N now and still haven't found even one I like. Whenever I sit down to do another letter, I even grab a notepad to jot down any that look good, but don't have any yet. I think I'll try to finish the boy list by tomorrow and start down the girl list. Maybe I'll have better luck with girl names :/

Not here, sorry...this little guy was named before he was even conceived. Biggrin

When we didn't know the gender and thought about girl names, I hated everything that came my way. I had some I liked but mostly, I just didn't see any as anything I could call someone for the rest of their life.

I just kept going back to my boy name and hoping I got to use it!

I don't have any names picked out either. The only names I have even thought of are girl names. SO wants to name the baby Billy if it is a boy after his father that passed away. Fingers crossed it not a boy! I'm not a fan of the name at all!!!

What about William and just nickname him Billy? I know a lot of people that do that.

OP, are you looking for a common or uncommon name? Thats sometimes the hardest part of the baby is naming it! lol.

Well, I like having a less common name because I don't want my child to be the 3rd kid in their class with the same name--I swear, at church there are 4 sofia's in just the Junior classes (age 3-8) and there are only like 40 kids. thats 1 in 10!! We ended up with a more common name for our oldest 2, one was named after a grandfather who just passed away shortly before he was born (our son was to be his first great grandchild), and one because I chose the name as a 14 yo that my first dd would have-and I always loved it, though it became more common as years went on. Our 3rd is far less common, and he'll probably never have a child in his class with his name Smile But the older 2 have very uncommon middle names and the youngest has a common middle. So it all works out...

Here are my other kids names:

Joseph Thayn
Kaitlyn Alora
Weston James

I've almost gone through my app's boy name list and have jotted down a few ideas, none that either of us love. On to girls next...maybe we'll have better luck (and then we'll have a boy I'm sure!) LOL
