Oh so Frizzy.. :(

Anyone else’s hair going crazy with curls and being oh SOOOO dry.. I was told by my OB that in the 2nd trimester it is okay to dye your hair.. I have been on the fence about doing it  The main reason is because I always heard it’s a BIG no no.. but I am also scared my hair will fall out..

I have naturally curly hair so I haven't noticed that being any worse but I am concerned about coloring my hair. I need to do it badly because I have gray hairs flying everywhere! I am nervous too, I may just wait until December to do it?

My hair is just the opposite. It is so greasy I can’t stand it. I wash it in the morning and then by the end of the day it looks like it hasn’t been washed in a week. My hair is very straight. I have not gotten my hair colored this pregnancy but I have in the past and I have never had any issues with it

:lurk:

Your ob is right..you can dye it. Dye your hair the same shade or darker. You'll notice your hair being softer and smoother afterward. Don't go for bleach though. That removes pigment from your hair and can leave it frizzy. I have been using a product that I really love to help smooth my hair. Its called Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum. I really really like it and have been using it every day. Its about $18 but its a big bottle and you only need one pump. HTH!

Hair loss after pregnancy is common.

My hair is curly & dyed. My SO says that if my hair had a one-word resume it would say, "disobedient." lol. And I love my hair....it's everywhere.

My hair is falling out now! I'm thinking about chopping my hair off because it has been so frizzy and unmanageable. I've been leaving a trail of hair everywhere I go.
