OT- how to get stains off clothes...

I'm already going through all jack's baby clothes and washing some for this LO but some have stains and I have no idea how I'm gonna get them out since they've been in bins for so long. Anyone have anything I could try?

No idea - I had the same thing and ended up tossing them all. I figure if they didn't come out when they happened they probably won't come out 2-3 years later.

I got some hand me downs that had stains. I tried soaking in oxyclean then washing and that didn't work. Then I put the resolve stain stick (the one that is solid and looks like a deoderant stick) on the stains and got most of them out (4/6 outfits were fixed). I heard babyoxy works good but haven't tried that.

Thanks, I think maybe I'll try a stain stick or maybe that babyoxy, never heard of it but worth a try. there's only like three outfits stained but if they don't come out I'll just end up tossing them and have an excuse to get new things Biggrin

I had a ton stained from (he was a major piker!) and 4 years later I soaked them for 2 full days in oxyclean and most came out. It was breastmilk spitup as well as babyfood--carrots and peas and the like. So maybe soak them a long time? Oh and I added fresh oxyclean to the wash after soaking them. Good luck! Or just buy some new stuff Wink

Tanya,

Let us know what you try & what works. I already tossed a bunch of stuff, but it would be nice to know for the future.

I ended up trying the Oxyclean and soaked for 12 hours and they pretty much all came out! There's like two things that need re soak, but I'm thrilled that most stains are gone Yahoo
