Some people buy stock in Microsoft...

but I think I'm about to invest in maxi pads. Or panty liners. I knew I'd need them during pregnancy, as I was forewarned about increased discharge, but no one told me that it would be so...slimy. I must go through at least ten a day.

I probably should have added a TMI warning, but by now, I think we've breached all boundaries of what is considered acceptable discussion in the non-pregnant world.

LOL! The TMI doesn't get any better after the baby comes. Soon enough we'll all be comparing the color of our little one's poop to see if it's normal and talking about how much baby spits up. I think 70% of what goes on in motherhood is not acceptable discussion in the non-motherhood world.

Seeing as there are so many of us, such restrictions hardly seem fair. I think it's time to start a movement...

The other day at Sunday dinner at the in-laws, I restrained myself from saying that my *ahem* uterus was just above my bellybutton when asked where the baby is now because I was too uncomfortable saying the word in mixed company. How ridiculous is that?

Vive la revolution!!!

I need a blinkie for this...

ETA: My husband wants me to add that it was unnecessary to feel uncomfortable. At the same time, he's decided he and the cat are going to start their own counter-movement to get women to classify far more as TMI.

For real! My last pregnancy I didn't have this issue at all. Do you know how silly it feels to be in the pad aisle looking 9 months pg?

And on the TMI - I have read some extreme stuff on these boards so this is NOTHING! :puke2:

The things our Mothers never told us!

I have another issue, 41 year old bladder that leaks when I sneeze! I am wearing pads everyday too. Bums you out cause you think you wont need them to 9 months, no such luck!

Oh, the involuntary peeing! I found this to be a triple indignity:

1) pregnancy-induced insomnia
2) which caused nausea and vomiting at 4 am
3) which caused me to wet my pj bottoms.

This.....I have never peed my pants before throwing up until this pregnancy. UGH.....

That being said, I also use a pantiliner every.single.day. I was quite surprised last time when I needed it so I was prepared this time around......but not for the pee.
