Spotting

I woke up this morning and had some light pink spotting on the tp when I wiped. Honestly it really didn't shock me too bad. I have been moving the past couple days and it's been pretty exhausting plus me and DH dtd last night an I guess that could have caused it too? I don't really have cramps other than the slight dull ones here and there that I've had for the past week. I called my dr office and they won't see me yet because my Medicaid hasn't activate yet. She told me of I want then I can go to the ER which I'm contemplating doing. Will they see a heartbeat at 8 weeks? I'm terrified of having an ultrasound and them not seeing one. I haven't spotted since this morning but I'm still a little worried since I miscarried before ds. Idk what to do Sad

If it were me, I'd wait.

Since you haven't spotted since this morning it may very well have been due to the stress you put on your body with moving and DTD. Try to take it very easy today.

When does the coverage kick in? I'd wait until then if it's close. If not, and spotting starts again or picks up, then I would go no matter what.

Dull cramping isn't too much to worry about, and neither is light spotting - especially if you can account for reasons why (like you said, you did some lifting and "heavy" activity, plus DTD). If you were having heavy cramping and/or heavy spotting, I'd be much more worried if I were you.

Also, finding a heartbeat before 8 weeks is...erm...tricky, even with the transvaginal ultrasound. Right now, your best bet would be to stay home, relax, put your feet up and REST. If anything turns downward, head on out to the hospital like your doc said.

Good luck and KUP!

I would venture to say that DTD is what caused it more than anything else. I wouldn't probably go to the ER unless it continued or got worse and was accompanied by cramps.

As far as hearing the HB - we heard wit at 6w5d and 8w5d with the transvaginal u/s at my OBs office, so its definitely possible.

I agree with pp and just relax and take it easy today. Spotting can definitely be caused by DTD but then with your high activity level for the weekend, I would try not to worry about it too much :bigarmhug:

I say go to the ER if it picks up or if you start getting lots of cramps.

I wouldn't worry about spotting either -- heavy bleeding and cramping, I'd think about the ER. Personally, though, I'd avoid the ER altogether. It's expensive, it'll take forever, and if there is a problem, they can't do anything to help at this stage.

I had a subchorionic hemorrhage with DD and thought I was miscarrying. I was bleeding a ton and rushed off to the ER. It took over 5 hours, I never even saw on OB (I saw a PA), and the total bill was about $400. And that was after insurance! My 15 minutes with the PA was $100 by itself. All in all, it taught me not to go to the ER next time. I actually had some crazy cramping Monday morning (off course on a holiday!) and considered going to the ER. I haven't been bleeding though. In the end, I think it was related to gas pains (at least I hope....)

Certainly, if you suddenly start to have bleeding and pain, I'd go. But, in your case, I'd try and wait it out. I know that's hard to do. Pregnancy gives us so many reasons to worry! Hugs!

Thanks ladies. I'm just gonna take it easy today. We have so much to still get done which sucks but I guess it will have to wait. I have my
Nephews school picnic tomorrow and I'm contemplating on going to that cause that means I'll be up walking around for about 6 hours in the heat so idk.

Keep an eye on it, but like everyone else said it's probably from DTD just relax and take it easy for a while.
