U/S Landon

Well this morning we had our last ultrasound to check Landon's size. I was told he is a healthy little guy. If u recall he was 6 lbs & 2 oz at 32 weeks / 5 day (over all size was 35 w & 5 days) well today I am 36 weeks & 4 days and u are going to be shocked at his weight. He is now 9 lbs & 2 oz however there is always 17% give or take. His overall measurement is 42 weeks. Cazy right. His head is 40 weeks (at 32 weeks his head was 37 so that measurement is consistent Wink his tummy was 36 when i was 32 and now it is 42 & I am 36 /4 days). I am so worried that something is wrong. It's beyond me that his over all size is 7 weeks ahead Sad everything checks out healthy & I am excited about that just worried that I need to ho 17 more days & he is already 9 lbs Wink just worried that's all

:lurk:

My third baby measured large as well. At least 4-5 weeks ahead of average. He was born at 38w 4d weighing 9lb 13.5 oz, which was even larger than the u/s had predicted (we were expecting about 9 1/2lbs). He's almost 3 years old now and has finally thinned out, although he's in the 75th percentile for height & weight. He's just a big boy :). It'll be ok!

That is a big jump from your last u/s! I wouldn't worry too much about it though. One millimeter difference in the measurement placement and it can jump the weight up so much. As long as the dr. isn't concerned you should be fine!

You and me both....though sounds like yours is measuring just a bit bigger than mine. I'm worried too...but you are definitely not alone.

Sounds like a big baby! If he truly is that big already, I'm guessing you are not going to make it to 40 weeks!
